FELCO FELCO981 Plant Resin Remover Spray

This is magic! I used to scrub with cleanser and a lot of elbow grease. Spray this on and in seconds the old sap starts coming off. Just spray, let it sit a bit, and wipe as many times as needed. Hardly any scrubbing involved. I wish I knew about it 40 years ago. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Pricey, but effective. I use rubbing alcohol after every use and spray this stuff on only as needed to remove stubborn sap. One small spritz is usually enough to remove sap and it is also effective at removing stains, so the blades stop sticking and look great!

Very easy to use, just spray on the tools after use and wipe the resin out. Keep the tool clean and last. A little bit pricy.

Company’s recommend their products and accessories and options for similar products and work arounds exist. As a gardener tool cleaning resources are plentiful. I broke down and purchased this and don’t regret it. Do I wish it were cheaper? Yes. Is there something comparable? I’m not quite sure. Did it work? Exceptionally well!!!! A little goes a long way. Removes resin and plant debris quickly. The spray pump works easily. I wish there was more product. The cost breaks down to $3.71 cents per ounce which isn’t a lot of product. Small bottle (5 ounces). Since you don’t need a lot, I think I can make it stretch. Be intentional and slow with the sprayer. Otherwise, you will spray more than you need.

This stuff is amazing. Cleaned off lots of buildup gunk on my Felco pruners, including the sticky, persistent sap from squash plants. The first time I used it I was amazed at how much it took off and now I use it regularly to keep my pruner cleaner and sharper. They’re much easier to use with all that built-up gunk gone. Yes it is a small bottle, but I don’t use a ton and it will last for quite a while.I will never be without this stuff.

Works well with minimal effort. No wire brush or scrubbing required. Clean, sharp tools make pruning easy.

First time I’ve used the product. The spray bottle leaked around the nozzle so most of the spray dripped down the bottle. The spray seemed to clean but didn’t foam up like the youtube videos. Made a mess. Guess it cleaned ok.

This works great! I was surprised how quickly it removed residue that soap couldn't get. This makes cleaning my gardening tools much easier
