FLEOR Electric Guitar Humbucker Pickups Bridge Alnico 5 Pickup Black

Bought these to upgrade a standard non fender telecaster. They are loud and clear and tremendous value. I coil tapped both of then by using two push pull pots- 1 for volume and 1 for tone with a047 cap on the tone. The coil taps are independent-i.e. The vol push pull controls only the neck pick up and the tone the bridge giving a playability of single coils or humbuckers, very versatile. Fast Delivery ,well packaged. Recommended.

I replaced the ceramic pickups on my Jackson guitar for these to "soften" the sound, and added two coil tap switches to split the humbuckers and add some more tone variation. They do sound good, but I was a little surpised that the coil split doesn't make much difference to the output - these pickups are really hot! They do look great on my guitar, especially with the black surrounds.

Revised: 23/10/25 These have brightened up a very old, and beloved, Aria Pro II guitar. It took me a while to get used to their power. I use a Boss Guitar processor mainly and all of my patches are set for my PRS. These pups seem quite a bit more powerful and so the patches would need adjusting for the Aria. I didn't like these pickups at first but then I tried them through a valve combo amp and they sounded much better. The fizzyness I was hearing through the processor was gone. The two pups seem well balanced and I have found that my favourite setting on my PRS sounds good with these on the Aria too. That is both pups selected with the bridge in humbucker mode and the neck in single coil mode & going through the clean channel on the amp. One small complaint is that they don't clean up much on the volume knob through the valve amp but they do when I'm using the processor. I guess it could be my settings on the amp. I've been using a processor for so long I'm a bit out of touch with 'real' amps. Basic packaging and no instructions didn't matter because they arrived intact and wiring diagrams are on the web site. Screws and springs supplied are okay but springs are a tad on the weak side.

Really impressed with this humbucker set. From good quality packaging to first class wiring info, plus online help. The build quality is excellent and the pickup resistances were exactly what I was looking for. Well done Fleor.

I wired this humbucker into my LE Epiphone Les Paul with coil split and it was a breeze to install. The original pickup was hot but still way too bright in comparison to the neck, so I eanted something with less treble to mellow it out. My FLEOR pickup came in at 15.5k, higher than the advertised 14 - 15k but perfect for my application as I was looking at >16k models from other brands. It does distort very easily but is clean and clear in clean settings if need be, still retaining treble which can be dialled down by adjusting the height. With added distortion it can scream with pinch harmonics. Honestly this is a great heavy rock / metal pickup for the price, colour me impressed.

I have a PRS SE 24 and bought a Harley Benton CST Deluxe to compare. As all the reviews said, the HB was excellent, it is - I have played and built guitars for over 50 years - but pay over 200 euros unless you want to spend your life fret rolling and polishing! One review said maybe change the pickups. I fitted these FLEOR Alnico 5s and they are simply excellent! The neck pickup growls a bit when pumped up through my Marshall, as a decent humbucker without effects should. The single coils sound great and the tonal range of the HB improves vastly. Follow the Seymour Duncan wiring standard - black to hot, red_and_white to coil split, and green_unsleeved to earth. Great buy.

Firstly I have to say that the pickup quality and sound is great. I'm giving it a 3 for two reasons. Firstly the images show 4 wires for coil splitting. Mine arrived with only two wires, doesn't bother me but it may be a deal breaker for others. Secondly the supplied mounting screws didn't fit. Luckily I had a guitar screw kit which had some suitable otherwise I would have been returning the pickups.

Fantastic value for money humbuckers. They were easy to fit and actually sound quite good. Mounting springs and screws are lightweight but that is not a complaint just an observation.
