These dual media filters are incredible. I have a 3 stage system that is fed from lake water. This filter is my first stage, then I go down to 5 micron, then carbon, then UV. Compared to a standard 20 micron filter, I would say this one lasts about 3x as long before becoming plugged. If your water is rich in sediment or tannin, and your filters are plugging up fairly quickly, this may be a good option. You will still need something finer before UV, but its a great initial step.

Cheaper then ordering from company, and arrived quicker exactly what I needed to open the cottage. Will order again for sure
