OMGOSH!!! Just one bite of this delicious treat sent me right back to the first time I ever tasted Halva and fell in love. The Halva I had at that time was from Lebanon and it was loaded with pistacios and there are no words to describe the taste other than pure heaven!!! you simply cannot stop eating this, the toasted sesame seed taste which is the primary taste in this, is called tahini and combined with the pistacios, there is nothing like it, maybe baklava, but if i had the two in front of me i would choose Halva , YOU MUST TRY THIS BRAND AS IT IS CLOSE TO THE MADE IN LEBANON ONE!!! DELICIOUS

It is the middle of the night, my house is quiet. I walk into my office to work on one of my books, and then I am assaulted by a sugar treat. I sneak into the kitchen and there, on the shelf calling me is this enticing sinful sugary thing that makes me feel I'm a child again and the joy it brings me sends me back to bed with a feeling that I am not as old as I am, and forgive myself for such a long sentence.....

I love the product itself. Haddar Baracke makes excellent halva. BUT, halva is only yummy if you can eat it, which was not the case here. The packing was done so poorly (why put it in a bag and not in a box?) and as result the product arrived smashed with sharp pieces of the plastic halva container embedded in the halva and tge rest in the bag. To make matters worse, they don’t replace or refund, and there is NO way to contact them to discuss. That is a lot of money for zero halva. In short: buy from a different seller to avoid disappointment.

First time having this halvah ! I must say it’s the best I’ve tasted!! I’ve been eating Halvah as a child in NYC for 76yrs ! Normally all have tremendous amounts of sugar!

I was expecting a slightly better halva. I thought it was a little bit overly greasy and oily. No more than 3 crushed pistachios sprinkled on the side.

Good stuff. My dad occasionally brought halva home (decades ago) and this seems very similar.
