This book shelf was easy to put together it’s very sturdy and I use it for my kids books and stuffed animals and the top for a night light and their fan. I was able to secure it to the wall so it can’t tip over on them.

A breeze fixing this but some imperfections exist which is why it's not a 5 star product. Otherwise, the material is excellent and very sturdy.

This is a great little bookcase for a child. It's super easy and quick to assemble, and is pretty solid with real wood construction. You can see the wood grain on the sides of the painted panels unlike composite pieces. There is a slight smell, but I assume it's from the paint, not formaldehyde or other horrible chemicals. It's not strong, and I believe it will disspate in a few days. I wiped the unit with a damp cloth before assembling and have it sitting in the livingroom before placing in my child's room in a few days. It really is adorable and sturdy. I had no damaged pieces, except for a tiny nick on the back edge, which I can repair with a smear of acrylic paint. Assembly was really a breeze. I was overwhlemed at the sight of the bag of screws ar first, but it took 20 minutes tops with a child's help of handing them to me.
