Excellent quality stone. I find it is a better water wet stone

Combine this tri stone set with a Japanese whetstone and you will have no issues after years. First stones lasted 3 years, and we are replacing them, basically, because a lot of people uses it inside our professional kitchen, but not everyone is careful enough.

A decent coarse grit block, it seems to be wearing somewhat quickly however---does a good job reshaping the bevels on a blade.

This is not coarse stone, it feels softer than a fine stone. I bought this to replace my husband's stone (butcher) and he laughed when he opened the box saying I hope you can get a refund. The box says there are 2 in here, there was only 1.
