I use this every time I wash my hair! It detangles, works as a heat protectant, and smells great. Everything I look for in a hair prep spray!

Love the smell and the way it detangles my long hair.

Not sure how to tell if the heat protection is working but this is my new favorite heat protectant. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue and it has a nice, light coconut-y smell. I put it on my ends and it feels moisturizing without weighing down my hair.

Drybar Prep Rally is hands-down my favorite hair product and heat protectant! I’ve been using it for years, and I’ve tried others, but I always come back to this one. It nourishes my hair without leaving it greasy, and it makes styling so much easier.

I have a lot of long, fine hair but it gets curly underneath. My hair is less manageable due to hormonal change and realized I need to use something. I love this product. I spray after my shower and use my fingers to run through my hair with no tangles which has led to less hair falling out and less tangles throughout the day and by the next morning. It has a pleasant scent, lightweight and doesn’t feel or look oily nor weight the hair down. I do use several sprays since I have a lot of hair and do wish they made a larger bottle. Highly recommend!!

I really enjoy this little detangler. I do feel it works pretty well with my hair, it actually detangles as I hope making my hair easier to manage. I will admit that it does work better than most other detanglers I have used in the past, where it actually detangles snarly hair. I also notice that, for me, it does not make my hair look or feel greasy, as I have had that with other detanglers that I use all over my hair. Those other brands, I tend to use just at the end of my hair and avoid the roots. However, as much as I LOVE this detangler, I do think it’s ridiculously overpriced and the bottle is too small, as you use it once and feel like it’s already half gone (over dramatization as it’s not literally half gone) so it’s not overly sustainable for daily use, as much as I would prefer this one over other detanglers. The smell is pretty good, for me personally. It’s not overly strong, so it’s enjoyable for me. I do treat myself with having this in my cupboard but I use it sparingly as it goes pretty quick.

I've used this product for about a year since first receiving it in a subscription box. I suffered a bit from sticker shock but if a product works exactly as advertised then the price is more often than not worth it. This still cost a few dollars more than my last purchase, so I may shop around a little more next time to see if I can find a better price. This spray doesn't need to be thickly applied in order to work effectively, just a few quick gentle sprays will do and it makes combing through thick wet hair an absolute breeze. It's also great as a blowout refresher - a few quick sprays on dry hair followed by a comb through and blowout for a few minutes on medium makes your hair look and feel as if you've just freshly washed and styled it - an excellent time saver! I had to drop a few stars for scent as this bottle didn't have the fresh, pleasant scent I've come to expect from Dry Bar. It smelled somewhat like chemicals instead of the usual pretty scent - maybe it was exposed to adverse conditions? It still performed as promised in all other areas but when it comes time to purchase it again, I may have to shop in person so that I may personally check the scent before buying.
