cotton variety is good but quality is poor.

my initial order didn't arrive, so I contacted Amazon customer service and got refunded, no hassle. My second order arrived in a few days, and I used the kit a few times already! tightly packed kit, with almost everything you need to usual sewing need. easy to pack for travel.

My little sister loved it! Good kit to start teaching her how to sew. Def worth the money.

I bought this in January 2021 and I can't say how many times I've found some useful item in it that I needed and it worked like a charm. The thread is sturdy and comes in really nice colors, the variety of needles, the scissors, the threader, the seam ripper, everything -- it has whatever you need to rescue clothing, buttons, embroidery, cross-stitch, (a thimble, even a tapestry needle to rescue crochet!) you name it. When I first got it I was like, ok whatever, it was an inexpensive kit that suited my need for whatever it was at the time (I can't recall). But I just can't get over how handy it is, and how many times I've reached for it and got exactly what I needed at the time. Over the past 30 years buying little sewing kits in times of need when I didn't have access to my other sewing or craft supplies, this is probably the most all-around useful kit I've found.

Nice kit. Haven’t tried anything yet, but looks like decent quality for the price.
