Bought this for a 50" installed on a fixed mount on my outdoor patio. Bought the 46 - 48 because it showed it was 44.5" across. My TV measures 44" across and it fit like a glove. Because of the fixed mount can't get it completely closed at the back but no concern for my application. These things are not really supposed to protect out in the open in the pouring rain anyway.
