Great Shoe! Water proof. Work shoe - yes.

Oboz fit beautifully and last. They are my 6 year favorite. Now, I have several pairs. Never going back to the cheapo shoes.

I bought these shoes based on recommendations and ordered a pair. The order and the box in which they were in were correct, but the actual shoes were different (standard width versus wide as I ordered them). So, I returned them because the shoes were too narrow, squeezed my feet and were hurting me. I gave four stars based on the quality of the shoes because they were good shoes. However, I deducted one star because I got the wrong shoes (the width). I understand the mistake should be attributed to the supplier. Nevertheless, I was impressed with the built quality (though they were made in Vietnam, not in the USA).

The Oboz Sypes Low Leather B-Dry Hiking Shoe has become my favorite daily wear shoe. I prefer hiking shoes over tennis shoes or any other shoe for my everyday wear. For the last several years Oboz have been my favorite brand. I have owned several different Oboz styles and liked all of them, but this particular pair is by far my favorite. I even bought a second pair for when my current pair wears out. If I'm actually doing some heavy duty hiking, I would probably go with a little more heavy duty pair, but these would definitely get the job done and would be perfect for light hiking. I just prefer a little more rugged tread for the real thing. If I had one complaint, it would be that the laces could be a bit more rugged, but they look good and work just fine. If this brand fits your foot, you have to give these a shot. They are the most comfortable pair of hiking shoes I've ever owned and are plenty rugged for my daily walks and work around the yard, while still looking great when I'm out and about.

I really like the shoes. But I had to send them back because they left top of the shoe had a sharp crease that would not smooth out, not sure why that crease was there. I really wanted to keep those shoes but because that I have to send them back.

I had the Sypes in the high top and it was my favorite shoe which I wore every day for work, walking, hiking. Got the low tops and like them just as much. Great shoes but everyone likes something different. I try on a lot of shoes and my feet just don’t like them, but these are just right for me. They have held up well under moderate use and they don’t hurt my feet (which many shoes do). They have good traction and they look good too.

This is my second pair. They are very comfortable and provide great support and fit true to size. After 1-1/2 years of use, the first pair has been relegated to daily bang around the yard shoes. I have been very happy with the waterproof quality.

They run narrow. One of the shoes inside stitching rubbed on the top of my foot. They are very stiff and need lots of time to break in.
