The spout you drink out of became mouldy, despite being washed every day. Had to throw it out.

It’s not perfect, but the closest we’ve come to a winner in the dozens of different bottles we’ve tried. These are perfect for preschool/kindergarten and meet covid requirements since the lid is technically covered. Also easy to wash - I just pull apart and toss in the dishwasher. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is that it’s impossible for the valve to get completely dry so there’s always risk of mold - however we only use for water so haven’t had an issue so far (I might find something gross if I cut it open, but going off smell for now). Only other minor complaint is that the insulated wrap makes it too big to fit in the backpack mesh bottle holder space, but not a big deal. My older son has a tendency to toss this in the main compartment of his backpack and occasionally the lid flips open and spills, but again that’s more human error.

My son loves his water bottle and I need to get one for his older sister now. It's not small at all. I don't understand the complaints of the small hole. I think it's necessary for the mechanics. To allow vent foe the water to come through the straw. My son is 8 so he shouldn't be letting it turn upside down while open. My only small complaint is the locking button is wonky qnd difficult for him. Even I struggled with it. I hope it doesn't break quickly.

I bought 2 my toddlers. I like how light the cups are. I like how they look. But, they leak SO BAD. My toddlers discovered they could tip them upside down and ALL the water comes out. So that was fun. So they are strictly an outside cup.

This water bottle has great grip and is super easy to clean (ie-just toss everything into the dishwasher;) ). My son in middle school uses this for school and he says it doesn’t leak and usually holds plenty of water for him through out the day. Some days that are really hot out and he has athletics, he needs to refill but the lid is easy to take off and put back on. I got him the grey and yellow and he likes the colors.I’m considering buying a few more as back ups and for my other son.
