This does not work with PLX SM-AFR out of the box. The tip and middle ring on the 3.5mm jack are swapped. If you splice the cable and swap the wires for tip and the ring, it will work. The price point is good, even with having to modify it but the diagnosing time and correction shouldn't have been required.
