Featuring the song that took over the world, "Seven Nation Army", now a stadium chant known around the world by football and soccer fans alike. Dun dun dun dun dun duuun dun... Cut from the original 1/4" master tapes, pressed on two glorious 180-gram LPs, this record is ready to be displayed in a place of prominence in domicile or museum. Review: Superb edition of a great album - Music is of course subjective and I loved this record the moment I heard it playing in a record store at the time of its release 20 years ago. That feeling has never waned. I have however, struggled to get a decent pressing, with others being rather noisy, lacking dynamics and one having horrid sibilance distortion on some vocals. These 20th anniversary White Stripes releases are what should have been released all along. Apparently mastered from the original analogue tapes, they are much better than anything I have heard before and I have a very revealing vinyl system. The discs are heavy, flat and have great dynamics, with clear highs and lows. Vocals are sensitively reproduced and natural and showcase what a good vocalist Jack White actually is. Surface noise is minimal and there are no surface defects. With only around 3 tracks per side, there is plenty of room for the grooves. The jacket is also lovely, being a thick card, tip-on style. You will want to add some proper anti static inner sleeves and save the paper ones provided. It is wonderful to have this (and the other) White Stripes releases on great quality vinyl at last. Review: Fantastic Album looks and sounds awesome but it’s pot luck - No doubt this is one of the greatest albums of all time. This 20th anniversary release is fantastic however be warned that some of the records shipped sound distorted with crackles and pops… just awful across all four sides. The first I received was terrible and I mean really really bad. This is why I would recommend buying this one from desertcart as you have a hassle free option of returning and replacing. My second copy is fantastic great sound dynamics massive soundstage just awesome. It is the best version in my opinion, it looks beautiful too. My only other gripe is with the paper stock used for the inner sleeve’s, it is of poor quality and let’s things down a little. I have replaced with poly lined inners keeping the original sleeve’s. 100% recommend this to anyone … it’s pot luck good luck.

Great album.
Only a tiny crease on the jacket but saved a lot of money by buying used.

This is the way to hear it..... on vinyl!
Jack White used a traditional analogue workflow to record this album and it shows what a fabulous sound it can be. I could do a track by track review but really if you want to buy this album on vinyl the important information is how good the sound and pressing is. As mentioned the sound is fabulous and the pressing is also very good, my copy is clean without annoying crackling, straight out of the sleeve, no pre-play cleaning needed. The inner sleeves are card but not too heavy, I still had to change them for paper polylined ones as I am sure the card would give hairlines after a while. Thoroughly recommended.

Seminal White Stripes
Original, hard hitting and refreshing rock. The stripped down recording style was unique at the time and initially jarring but after a few listens it really grows on you. The signature Seven Nation Army is one of the classic tracks of the Noughties. There are a few strange filler tracks but nothing dull or ordinary. I really enjoyed track 4, the Burt Bacharach and Hal David cover which was popularised by Dusty Springfield. Thoroughly recommended album.

Brilliant
Allways liked the White Stripes, but never got round to buying an album. Have recently been buying the "Greatest 100 albums" and this was included. This is gradually becoming one of my favourite albums, the tracks are all so diffferent and each one could have stood up as a single. Cannot recomend highly enough, this is a classic, especially compared to half of the tosh that I've had to endure with the other 'Greatest Albums'.

Rock Star on the School Run
If you are as proficient in air guitar and air drums like myself (years of dedicated practice) you will love this CD. I can play along to it for hours. Even in the car and stuck in traffic people around me stare in wonder at my steering wheel drum skills and mime singing. This CD helps to turn me and a Toyota Auris into a chick magnet and Dad Rock Star!! Only buy it if you can handle this sort of attention.

No llegué a abrirlo. Conozco perfecto el contenido, las canciones. Pero lo tengo para verlo y sentirme orgulloso de aumentar la colección de este tipo de discos de ediciones especiales.
