Will a Cardo freecom work with this helmet?

Yes that’s what I use. The booom mic attaches to the straps with Velcro. Pockets in straps for the speakers. Works great.

I measured my head between 55-56cm. What size do I need?

Go smaller. I bought a medium and sent it back and got a small.

How do I know what size to order

Buy a tailor's tape from WalMart, they're about $.97 each. Or just steal your wife's. They're the fabric strip ones for clothes. Stick it in the middle of your forehead and measure your noggin. Take that number and compare it to the chart on the product description page. Now you know! Be aware, some people's heads are more round and some more oblong. If you don't know you should probably try on some helmets at your local bike shop, a pressure point on your forehead will give you a headache every time you ride.

Is the visor 100% uv protection?

I don’t know that but I can tell you it’s dark and blocks the sun.
