Very handy
We like to use paper maps sometimes but our eyes are sometimes not what they used to be. This little fisheye is a great magnifier that you can just set down and slide around. Really slips into a pocket too for hiking or other detailed maps when a cell signal isn't an option.

Love for Diamond Painting
Serves two purposes, a paperweight and a magnifier. It works great for both.

Cool-looking magnifier and it works for me
I “inherited” one of these dome magnifiers at the office, and I like it so much that I decided to buy one for home. It’s about 2.4” in diameter and has some weight to it as it’s made of glass. Unlike traditional handheld magnifiers that you have to hold over the page and closer to your face to get them to magnify, this dome magnifier is for use on flat surfaces. Simply put it on the page and slide across as you read the text. I like it that because it is a paperweight and if I need, for example, to copy or type a sentence from what I’m reading, the magnifier holds the page down, and stays right on the place where I left off. A dome magnifier is not as easy to pick up as a handheld magnifier though. I have to slide it off the book or off the table. And to avoid leaving fingerprints all over the dome, it’s always better to hold it from the sides. The one con about this magnifier is that I have to play with it, so that I can minimize the glare it gets from my lamp. But I believe it provides more clarity and a sharper image than my old acrylic magnifier.

Excellent for reading.
I got this because I'm far sighted and reading long with glasses on gives me a headache. This is a great alternative. Only issue is that lights reflect off it, so you need to keep that in mind where you sit. But I've got 2 off them, and use them daily. Diffused lighting works best, e.g. lamp with lamp shade.

A Handy Gadget
This is a handy little magnifying glass. I have two of them now, one in the kitchen to read cooking directions on the back of food packages, and the other by my recliner to read photo captions and other things in tiny print. A useful little device.

Very Nice Dome Magnifier!
The clarity of this magnifier is outstanding and when factoring-in the weight, it's reasonable to assume that the magnifier is made of Chinese leaded crystal, just as the ad says. The dome shape collects more surounding light and slightly brightens the image underneath. Because of it's size, 96mm (not the advertised 100mm), it has a significant amount of weight. Dropping this on the ground or on your foot would do some damage. Unlike acrylic dome magnifiers, that have straight walls leading up to the dome, this crystal dome has no such feature, so sliding this magnifier off the printed material is the most effective way to remove it. I'm very satisfied with my purchased.
