Good cleanser
This is a nice lightweight cleanser that leaves my skin feeling soft. No harsh scent, a very subtle smell. I think it is a bit too expensive, though.

Perfect for sensitive skin.
I’m on my 3rd purchase. I received the first bottle from my daughter. I have rosacea and my skin is very sensitive to cleansers. This controls the oil and minimizes the redness. It is gentle enough to use it daily. A fantastic value!

A Little Does Not Go a Long Way
I like this cleanser in that it's a silky formula that feels nice on the skin. It smells nice, too. There are also no conflicting ingredients when pairing with products from the rest of my skin routine since it's such a gentle cleanser, which is great. My only issue is that (as others have mentioned) when using as directed, it doesn't lather in the slightest for me. The directions say to use on dry skin, but when doing that, I have to use several pumps just to feel like I'm distributing evenly enough to actually cleanse. I have found it can sometimes help to add just a little water to my hands when massaging it into my skin. I also don't know if I got a slightly defective bottle or if this is normal but the pump sort of slingshots the product, so beware of that lol

Apply to dry skin only
This has been good for my skin. I just don't like that you need to put in on dry skin (cause I like to use it in the shower). Consultancy is like a thin lotion. But, for context, I don't use make up and have sensitive skin. Most things that are natural with rose in them, seem to work well in general for me.

Gentle and Effective Cleanser
This is a gentle yet effective cleanser. While the formula is different compared to cleansers I have used in the past, I like it! I like it because it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry - it feels hydrated, which allows me to use less moisturizer as a result.

BEST MOST EFFECTIVE MOISTURIZER
This is the best product I have ever used, honestly. And hydrates my sensitive skin thoroughly and it also sets my make up. Just don’t put too much on over your make up or else he will look oily. However I do use it in the morning on a bare skin And if you just do a light mist it is still very effective and not oily/shiny. I am a licensed skin care expert/aesthetician and I can say with 100% confidence that this will not clog pores, it will soothe sensitive skin or redness it might be just the best moisturizer and most effective if you have ever tried. Even more than creams etc. And no rubbing involved! Game changer.

Afraid to try it, might not be safe to use
This product and the reviews for it sounded great in the listing for it, so I ordered it. However, when it got here, I could see the list of ingredients and phenoxyethanol was pretty high up in the list, way above all the rose extracts and other things I was looking for. I sent an email to the Heritage Store, asking the following question: "I am looking for a facial care line of products that is safe for sensitive skin and an over-reactive immune system that makes it difficult for me to use most things. I want to know the percentage (%) of phenoxyethanol in your Rosewater Cleanser Gentle Milk Wash. I am concerned because EWG gives it a 2-4 rating, with low to moderate organ system toxicity. Is it more than 1% (which is the "safe" level for it in the EU)? I see it is also in your other products, but I want to start with this one if it's safe for me to use." The company's reply was as follows: "Thank you for reaching out regarding our Rosewater Facial Cleanser. The amount of phenoxyethanol in this product is proprietary and we are unable to give out the amount of phenoxyethanol in this product. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. All of the ingredients are listed on the label in order of most to least occurring in the product. " I asked the same question to another company about their product and they answered that the phenoxyethanol in THEIR product was less than 1%, so I have to assume from the lack of transparency for the Heritage Store product is that their product has a phenoxyethanol level that is above what is considered safe to use, both because they refused to answer the question and because it was so high in the list of ingredients. It might be an otherwise great product, but I returned it unopened and untried because I didn't have confidence in it, based on their answer. Anything that's put on one's skin and absorbed is carried via the bloodstream to every organ and tissue in the body, so one should be careful about what one puts on their skin! Buyer beware!
