I liked this chair so much, I purchased one as a gift for a relative. This is the chair everyone wants to sit in when we go camping or for a picnic. I also use this chair to go out plein air painting and can strap it to my backpack. The little table extension is very useful. The pockets are a bit small but I use them for smaller items.

These chairs are very sturdy and do not sag. Very comfortable but still lightweight.

These chairs are amazing. I feel like they are like the gnome in those TV commercials, I’ve been everywhere man, because our’s certainly have. We headed out west last summer on a mostly camping trip driving all the way from Florida to Idaho along the Oregon trail and back through South Dakota. I knew we need a good chairs for the trip as we were gone over a month. Typical camp chairs will wear on your back after a while as they’re not supportive. These were amazing. The little trays are great for when you’re eating or just want to set your drink down. There is a holder for everything under the sun Including water bottles, laptops, maps, weapons, bug spray, sunscreen. Everything is at your fingertips. They fold up easily and take up very little room. Two of them can easily fit on the floor behind the seat in your car. We are constantly going camping and would never leave home without these chairs. We recently got back from another trip where one of our friends plopped down in my chair and sat there all evening. He had to weigh 300 pounds. I thought my chair was a goner, But when he got up the chair was in perfect shape and the seat didn’t even sag. You definitely need to buy these chairs. I will never have anything else. Support on the back is amazing, they are perfect height, the material is easy to clean. Buy quality and you only have to buy once. I’m not sure about the few people that are saying these chairs are not good quality. They must’ve purchased them from an unreliable source or gotten used chairs. I’m not sure but that could not be any further from my experience.

I searched and compared a number of director-style folding chairs. I am glad I chose this one. It is really nice. If I have issues with canvas fading, hinges not holding up, etc., I will update this review. My initial assessment is that this chair is thoughtfully designed, good size for fitting in my trunk. I bought the optional umbrella. The umbrella fabric matches the chair perfectly. While you can always stick an umbrella into the ground near a chair, the canvas slot on the back of this chair really helps hold the umbrella upright while in use. I'm glad I bought this chair and matching umbrella. Recommended.
