We have a large old house with an open downstairs layout. For years, we have had one large room air conditioner and then used large fans to pull the air to other parts of the downstairs, but this never cooled off the kitchen which is 2 large rooms away. So when Prime Days came around, we took advantage of a great deal to purchase this quality product and put it in the window nearest to the other parts of the downstairs. This was a particularly scorching summer at times and our old methods weren't cooling off the downstairs well enough during those extreme heat warning stints. This air conditioner is ridiculously easy to set up (actually made me realize how I put the one in my bedroom together incorrectly, without looking at the directions) and wasn't too heavy to lift up to put into a 6-foot high kitchen window--even for this person with a bad back. The unit fits 95% perfectly into the window and the old, uneven windows of our 140-year-old home likely are to blame for that. The noise is truly minimal for what it does. And the remote control is very simple and easy for my senior mother to use, instead of having to use the buttons on the unit. I love that it is eco friendly and that it won't use expensive energy when we don't need it. Lastly, I will say that I am sure it will work beyond great if you use it for just one closed-off room. However, people like us who need to cool off more than that area, I can say that it does cool strong enough that you can use a fan to pull the air to another room. Since adding this conditioner to the kitchen, the downstairs has been overall very pleasant despite the latest extreme heat stint. And I'm not overly concerned about the next electric bill as I know it helped use other forms of cooling less overall. We purchased this under a great deal but I would say it is well worth the expense and future savings for you to buy it at full price!

UPDATE: We've had this ac for a month. It does all I have said. It really keeps our home comfortable. It's still well. It was easy to install. Functionality? Let me tell you about this ac. with heat. The unit delivers cold as ice air when you want it. It can be set to whatever temp you desire and it doesn't fail you. Our home stays comfortable. Not too cold or too hot. Just right. If needed, it can be set to another temp. Doesn't make a lot of noise. Cuts off automatically at the set temp. We are Loving this ac. The air flows nicely across the room. This is a Beast of an ac. Did I say it's nice to feel comfortable and not too cold or too hot. I guess I did :D We bought the 23,500 btu unit. You have to try this product. You won't regret it. Remote works good too. We tried the heat and the cool air. They both work great. Thank you for such a great product and working to making it easier to pay for. I was gonna share a video, but we're remodeling our dining area where we put the ac and I need to paint. It looks good sitting there. Doesn't look like an eye sore.

The shipping was fast but it was damaged the outer box was fine but inside the bracket that you attached was bent pretty bad there's no installation instructions I had a call to get those other than that it works great not as loud as my last one

My existing A/C stopped working this summer so I had to get a new one. I was a bit worried it wouldn't be big enough for my area, but it has worked wonderfully. It does not run constantly if you put it on Eco mode, and it does the job and keeps my bedroom cool, even when its really hot outside. Happy with this purchase, and it was very easy to install in my window as it is much lighter weight than my previous model.

First, I injured my back trying to unpack the thing. Second, after attaching the side accordion panels that the product info says will fit your window, I find they fall WAY short. At maximum extension, the panels and unit will be about 39 inches. My window is 42 inches. This is something I wish I'd known before buying. Now I'm searching for extra long accordion panels and/or a handyman who'll be able to make this work. Not what I bargained for. And the unit is too heavy for me to lift and carry as far as I'd need to to return it. To say I'm angry is an understatement. So now, 2 weeks later, I had a handyman install the AC in my window. I've used it for a couple of really hot days and it is NOISY! Hard to sleep with it on the energy-saving ECO setting, because it cycles on every 10 minutes, waking you up. So I put it on a setting where the fan runs (noisily!) all the time and the compressor cycles on when cooling is needed. And now, after only a few hours, the compressor is making strange, grinding sounds. I have no idea if it's broken or what. I can't return it, because it's too heavy. I'm sorry I bought it. I hope this helps someone who also doesn't have a crew on hand to do the heavy lifting.

So far this unit has worked well. The heat pump is amazing and works super well as does the a/c cooling aspect. It replaced a 30 year old 220V unit which finally failed - hoping this 230V unit lasts me 20 years! Shipping was the only issue - the carrier must have dropped it once and it cracked the outer housing and dented it up. Internals seem unharmed and working great so far. Amazon issued a partial refund for the damaged - courier otherwise was less than ideal when it finally arrived. Great value for a wall or window install solution!

I live in a block house with no AC and we just entered a two week heatwave with temps in triple digits with expected highs approaching 110 so I ordered this little guy to help keep inside cooler and help me sleep. The unit is not big. It is too heavy, but not lite. Was pretty easy to install, and has definitely helped keep the house a little cooler, and the bedroom where it is installed cold. I am still figuring out what to set it on during the day vs night, but will easy to use controls on the unit itself, and a simple to use remote as well, it's been extremely easy to play around with and adjust. Only downside is it's not exactly quiet, but I can put up with a little noise in order to not melt.

Small window size. Works perfectly. Comes with accordion style slider window mounts, bracket, window lock and hardware. I'm satisfied with the unit. Also easy to register product on there website. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Thank you. 👍

I don't mind the sound of a fan running when I'm going to sleep but you do know that you have an AC unit on there's just no way around a bit of noise and if one has a problem with noise maybe they would be happier to be way to hot ...lol...

An item is easy to install, to operate, noise level is very low. I'm completely satisfied.

Very efficient, yes they make sound but get the job done.

This air conditioner is efficient but I find it too noisy, especially for sleeping. It is true that it is not as noisy as some other models (e.g. portable) though. Anyway, I decided to install it in a room that we used less often and bought a quieter one for my bedroom (a used discontinued Danby with silencer, same that I already own for the living room).
