First off, it's a soft material. So, no fins are injured when they decide to have zoomies. Yes, I have fish that get the zoomies. It does glow very gently, and the individual tendrils will move in the water if fish move around it a lot. Seems almost realistic. Nice addition to our live plants.

I bought 2 of these for the back of my 55 gallon fish tank, they are soft with good suction and easy to clean off.

What we got is okay but it is not what is in the picture or description of what I bought. Was looking forward to the vibrant pink I chose for our tank. What we received does not glow or have much color at all
