Very happy with my 6 cans of wild caught Skipjack tuna from "Safe Catch"! Cans arrived in perfect condition and the fish was fresh and flavorful! I'm so impressed that they test the mercury level in every single fish! 🐟 This is what will bring me back to this brand every time...plus that I crave a nice tuna fish sandwich every now and then! Wow. The best canned tuna i have ever eaten. Granted it's pricey, but worth it to me. It's not a shredded, soupy mess. It's very nice, flavorable chunks. I eat right from the can!

I saw Safe Catch on an episode of Shark Tank years ago. As I remember their story, the mother of one of the founders got mercury poisoning from tuna. They then worked to develop equipment that could test a tuna for mercury, thinking it would revolutionize food safety in the seafood industry. Nobody was interested, so they started their own company. And I'm glad they did, because this makes the rest of the industry look terrible by comparison! This product line is not the absolute tastiest tuna. It's fairly pink, and often in a few large chunks with some additional pieces. Somewhere around a middle-range - not foul, but not gourmet. Canned tuna is rarely eaten on its own anyway, so this isn't a problem. Even so, it's still not bad at all - I have had cans from major name brand before which were both awful AND didn't have the mercury certification. If you care about your health without wanting to compromise on food variety, this is the pick. Tuna is quite good for you. Mercury-tested, no-nonsense, packed in water, in a steel can. No toxic aluminum. All canned foods have an epoxy liner, but you can't avoid everything bad without fantastic amounts of money and time. Minimization is the key!

Appreciate the low mercury. It has good taste, good price. Would love a no salted option.

Good quality and good taste.

Until recently I never knew tuna fish could contain high levels of mercury. I am slowly learning about healthier food options. Knowing what I recently discovered about mercury I can never purchase any other brand. I was worried when I first ordered this brand not knowing what it would taste like, It is delicious. Do not drain juice from can, I promise if you work tuna and juice together with a fork it will all come together. We enjoy tuna fish in a variety of dishes at my house and this tuna has a wonderful taste. Ordering a six pack through Amazon was the best, cans come in a fitted box in perfect condition. Beware of other "safe" can tuna companies, this is the only company that does test every "fish" for safe mercury levels. I also feel good about my grandchildren eating this brand.
