LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. I bought this as a baby shower gift for my sister who is having a little girl in April 2017. I currently own the Woodland version for my little boy who is 2 months. The design of this journal is not the standard "baby girl" journal of solid pink pages and bows but this is still feminine and adorable. It honestly could be used even as a seasonal spring baby book. The layout makes it super easy to add pictures and key notes. It keeps it simple! When you are tired with a new baby but don't want to forget key milestones, this book makes it easy to remember what to capture and update between naps, feeding and diaper sessions. This book also doesn't pick one family dynamic or religion. I love that on the family page I can add myself, husband AND my step children who are my child's siblings and I am not boxed into what people consider the traditional family. There is a personal page with instructions included with the book too which is makes it more special in my opinion. The packaging is fantastic since it is a durable cardboard cover that opens like shutter windows with the company name on the outside in cute font. You could send this as a gift with out wrapping and the person receiving this would still be surprised. So far I am happy with my version and cannot wait to give this (AND the matching milestone stickers) to my sister.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I’m so pleased with this baby book that I want to let other moms and dads know that it’s worth every penny! I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect baby book (I’m expecting my first and I want to preserve all those special moments of the first year) and honestly I’d almost given up hope before finding RubyRoo’s book. In short: I love it! It came securely packaged and the illustrations in the book are simple yet gorgeous. I love the art style and I love how much space there is on each page for pictures and notes. I love all of the holidays that are included (typical American holidays as well as other holidays such as Hanukkah, Passover, Holi, Diwali, Eid Al-Fitr, and Eid Al-Adha so this book works for a wide range of families/beliefs). I also really love that there are pages like first word(s), first day of school, family celebrations, first food, etc. Also, are 5 full pages in the very back for letters/notes so that’s a cute plus :) This book includes so much and the price is extremely reasonable. If you’ve been wanting to buy this book, but haven’t fully committed, I say 100% go for it. This is a great memory book and I can’t wait to fill the pages :)

We bought the Ruby Roo All About Me woodland style for our first son, and the adventure animals style for our second son. I like these books because they have a nice array of prompts, but don't require me to remember to fill out tons of specific information or be faced with the later shame of lots of empty prompts. :) (my old baby book had a chart to write in the dates of when each tooth came in--I'm a twin so you can imagine how many of those were actually filled in!) The illustrations are adorable and not overly babyish, and would be great for either boys or girls. If I had had daughters I probably would have still gotten these adorable animal-themed baby books. I love the vibrant colors. The spiral binding is durable. The paper has a nice feel for writing on. I like that the family page is customizable for those of us with complicated families. Some of the holiday pages that don't apply to our family I use as pages for additional picture collages. I highly recommend this book for both sons and daughters, and for parents who want a baby book but are afraid of burning out halfway through it.

This would have been 5 stars because they’re so cute and I love how it’s sort of “fill in the blanks.” I bought another design before. But they both started to come apart and it’s so difficult to try to fix it 😭 wish it was more durable and this would be the best product.

The book is very easy to use, there is not that much room to right text on the side of the picture, so all depend of the use you want to have. At the end of the book there are 5 pages available to right a small journal. I especially loved the pages for all different festivities depending of your family. It fits very well boys or girls, nice design. You can easily remove the pages you don't want to use (religious celebrations or whichever ones) Only "small" negative is that the pages are not very easy to turn, hopefully once I remove the pages I don't need it will make some more space for an easier handling. I am very satisfied with that purchase, you can come back and fill it whenever you want, it will leave a beautiful souvenir. I love the fact to keep the journal at the end, where we can actually write whatever we want, and not having to write on a specific day.

As a two Dad family expecting our first baby, it was so important to us to find an inclusive baby book that didn't say "mom & dad". This book is absolutely beautiful, the artwork and quality are fantastic, and the matching keepsake box is comes in was a lovely surprise bonus. Our only wish is that the pages could be re-arranged, so we could start with Halloween for our October baby.

Cute memory book. I like that it uses gender neutral terms so it works for any type of family. It also includes all holidays but they are easy to remove if you do not celebrate those holidays. I think it is a great baby shower gift.
