Most people know that silver is preferred, as a metal, for it’s shine. It outshines gold and platinum. But, replacing a pair if you lose one earring is an expensive and, to be honest, silver requires “maintenance”. It tarnishes and the shine dulls over time. In reality, people don’t inspect or inquire about the alloy your earrings are made of, usually. I have to admit, I feel like I fool for not considering lightweight, non-tarnishing, durable aluminum hoops as my fashion “go to” before now. I’ve driven myself across country lines and to various stores that I’d never shop in, just to try to find the right “silver” hoops...only to be disappointed...or to pay a more than I was hoping. Last night, one of the hoops I paid more than I wished I had, in retrospect, fell out. I was lucky to find it. It made me glad that I bought this set of earrings. The clasps are sturdy so I’ve decided to make three of the four shiny, aluminum silver-tone pairs my everyday hoops ...(and retire my real, heavier, maintenance-needing silver hoops to the jewelry box for a rest). I may decide to by another set or two, in the future. There is a chance I could lose an earring, still...and I really,, really like these and think these are a great look, size and value. Also, that the posts do not contain nickel makes them a nice and inexpensive gift for that friend or family member you might have that has pierced ears. Again, beautiful. Better than expected. I would definitely buy again.

I have incredibly sensitive ears, and have been wearing this set of earrings almost exclusively for a couple of weeks now with zero issues. Impressed by the quality, especially for how little I paid. Highly recommend, I even wore them swimming (rinsed them with tap water afterwards) and no discoloration or tarnish.

They have some weight to them so they don't feel like low quality. The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a "dark" gold color, they aren't bright but they are still good looking. Considering you get 4 pair, it's a good value for the money.

These are inexpensive earrings that I purchased for everyday wear. Fine for that purpose but they do not look like high quality material. The clasps work well which isn’t always the case. Suit my need so would buy again.

i wore these hoops a lot, pretty much everyday i like them. they’re easy to put on, comfortable because they’re light weight, but they will stop clasping if you continually take them out and put them back in.

I always have difficulty with wearing certain earrings because of the metals. These did not cause me any problems. They're simple but what I needed to act like a sleeper. There are several pairs and sizes. I have worn them for about 2 weeks and haven't had any discomfort even sleeping in them.
