Sturdy and Excellent!
The case is very solid, and the rear stand that props the case up is much more sturdy than others I have owned. It seems likely to last a long time without breaking. In addition, you can prop it it up horizontally or vertically at nearly any angle, not just a single preset. I really like this case.

Case review great case
Great case, I've fumbled the tablet a few times unfortunately, but no damage at all I can say I bought the same one for my grandmother and she is where I got the clutsy gene from and we are 2 for 2 on zero broken devices which is saying something

Great stand Will fit a gen 13 with modification
I purchased this for the fire tablet gen 13 even though its designed for the gen 11. It fits perfectly and is a solid build with thick metal hinge pins vs plastic. Only downside is side it they revered the placement lock and volume buttons. If using with the gen 13 The case triggers the volume down button, so i cut it out with a utility knife as i use it with a headset and don’t need the button. If you don’t you can still roll back the case a bit to push the button underneath. Solid case with a solid stand which is why i bought it. If you have a gen 11 it’s great. If you have a gen 13 it’s great but needs an easy mod to make it work.

Sturdy but somewhat wonky button covers
I bought for Kindle Fire 10 (11th gen). VERY easy to insert Kindle into care.ALSO much sturdier than many covers looking like leather but made of cardboard (I know, I own one for Kindle Fire 8).I love the built-in rotating stand. Also makes holding it while reading very comfortable. Why I removed one star:1 - Little coverings for the buttons are very hard or annoying to use. I simply could not turn on my Fire 10. Sometimes had to remove the case just enough to be able to touch the on/off button.Usually easier to turn it off. Finally I pulled out my wire cutters and cut off that button. Now I have to reach waaaaaay down into the cover to hit the button to turn on. Easier than with the button cover but still harder than turning off (which might be that Kindle's issue, not the case).I also removed the covering for the power cord and mic (mic was stupid, cos I didn't look at the Kindle first, just started cutting away). But it's now very easy to plug it in and easier turning on/off.2 - The screen sure loves fingerprints! I used another screen protector for my Kindle 8. This case comes with a screen protector that is weird! Fingerprints all over it and hard to remove them.Next, if held at an angle or if not on, you can see iridescent colors on the black screen. Imagine seeing an oil slick on a wet blacktop pavement. I always loved those as a kid. Not so crazy seeing it in my Kindle.BUT when my Kindle Fire 10 is on, I don't see the fingerprints or the colors in the background.3 - Wish it had a holder for those "pens" with the round, soft end that can be safely used instead of our fingers.4 - Wish it had a cover. I have a never use, clean flat purse Kindle in this case just barely fits into. That little purse has clear plastic zippered pockets in front. I put the "pen" in one, and printed passwords into the other.5 - I don't regret buying this. It will do. But for being amongst the most expensive, I wish some more thought were put into how real people use these cases for their Kindles. And for anyone considering upgrading from an 8 or anything smaller than the 10, I highly recommend the Fire 10 (11th gen).THE perfect size for reading, viewing and holding for me.I also purchased because I want to view a ton of courses I've acquired and tutorials I've bookmarked through the years. I use a lot of high-end graphics / photographic software.I want to learn more and do more. I just want to sit somewhere other than in the same chair in front of my iMac I've sat in for years and years. Mission accomplished!

The most versatile tablet cover ever!
This tablet cover is unique, and just about perfect. I have purchased 3 of them through the years. The first 2 are still in great condition even after daily use for several years. It is a 2 piece cover with a built in screen protector. The pieces snap together very securely with a flexible edge that seals them to each other. I bought the first one for a trip to the beach so the screen protector was what convinced me. There is a kickstand on the back that can be adjusted to any angle you prefer for a full 180 degrees. The best part of the design is the kickstand alsorotates and swivels 360 degrees. It is placed off center so it can rotate to make a carrying handle. That seems like a small thing, but in fact it makes this kick stand infinitely adjustable in all 4 directions, allowing you to prop or hang the tablet in virtually any position. This cover obviously will add a little bulk to the tablet, but I find tablets slippery to hold and easy to lose my grip. The back cover is a very smooth texture, but not slick. The outer perimeter is rubberized to allow a very tight seal. The operation buttons are completely encased and the accessory cut outs have flip open access. All openings match the tablet perfectly and are easy to use (make sure you're purchasing the correct model for your specific tablet). I purchased a 2nd one for my next tablet based strictly on how much I loved the first one. This is 3rd cover I've purchased, and I based my new tablet choice, and waited to purchase it, completely on the availability of this specific cover to fit it. I'll never upgrade tablets unless I can get this cover for it. Obviously I could not give it a higher recommendation. I only wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

After one week, MANY scratches on "protector"
Screen protection is horrible. No cover to protect the screen, a piece of plastic (I think).I'm an adult. I've had Kindles since the first one came out. After one week, I noticed that the plastic cover was scratched in multiple places. Couldn't be rubbed out, etc.I'll never buy one like this again.
