Lunar Tides Semi-Permanent Hair Color (43 colors) (Neon Guava)

Before and after. The mint was from my stylist and just wasn’t what I wanted, the second pic where I covered my face is with this dye. It’s the exact color I wanted! The money piece is bleached and uneven, hence the slightly green roots so I’m gonna do another round of saturated color up there but I loved this product. It’s more of a gel consistency than some dyes I’ve used and it lathered really well. My hair was damp when I applied since I had just showered and I was suuuuuuuper nervous about the color bleeding out of the money piece but it didn’t! After I rinsed I put all of my hair back into the microfiber towel to let it dry, it didn’t stain my towel or my hands (I used gloves to apply but not to rinse and the application was good color without turning my whole sink green when I rinsed it out). I’ve had electric blue hair since 2019 that faded to a nice aqua blue and been wanted to go green since late last year. I went to the salon twice and on both occasions the green used had too much blue pigment and my hair ended up 1. Way too blue 2. Washed out in the first couple of washes leaving me with aqua hair again.After doing research I decided to color my hair at home. I used pravana yellow to sort of “tone” the blue. This left me with a kind of mossy green. I washed and dried my hair again and then applied Juniper Green, added a cap and let sit for 40 minutes, applied a total of 5 minutes of heat and it left me with the absolute most beautiful dark deep (but bright in light) shade.Will update my review with an image when I do a full beat.

I put this product over red box dyed hair that had not been bleached for a while. And before the red box guy was in there it was a deep auburn color. This green soaked in and took over it in the most amazing way. I literally bought it to just put over the red in hopes that it would make a dark murky green but instead I got the most vibrant green I could’ve imagined! It also makes my hair feel super soft and shiny! For the parts of my hair that were the reddish it does appear to fade within a couple of weeks after application, but honestly that doesn’t bother me because it just adds more depth to the green color that I have right now. It also came with a really cute sticker!If I could’ve given this hundred stars out of five, I would have.

I am so disappointed with this color and shipment. The inside seal was open half way as if it was used already. This caused the dye to leak a little. But I figured I’d still try it out. Right away I could tell the color was not pigmented at all. I used half the bottle on just a peek a boo around my crown. The outcome is embarrassing! I’ll have to wear my hair up until I find a color to cover it.

I have gray-white hair with wisps of natural color - not much. I've been trying products and so far this is the only one which actually stayed on my hair at all so that people could tell I've colored it. Easy to apply so can use it shortly before going out, and it doesn't disappear as fast as others so don't need to touch it up daily, either. While the closest I get to blue is aqua, it still looks good and it is just for fun so I don't care. Give this a try and see how it works for you.

Alright so, I am a quick shopper even online, I’ll check reviews and pictures and maybe check out a YouTube video to see a better view of the color. I however didn’t notice it was vegan, I tend to avoid vegan products because simply I have not found any that meet my expectations for what I need or expect. I understand if it’s a lifestyle/ethical choice, more power to you, live your truth: but me personally, this brand now added to the list along with arctic fox are thumbs down for me. Arctic fox bleeds non stop everywhere, seems to permanently dye anything but your hair, and washes out in about 3 washes. Now with this productPros:-it did not stain my skin, that was cool-it’s pretty thick so I did not make any kind of mess apply it, again cool-if you want like a fun little change for about a week, this is perfect because it washes out quick.-it didn’t bleed onto my clothes or bedding, or skin when washing my hairBut that’s where the pros endCons:- I couldn’t grip the seal so I used a safety pin to help me get an end up, some of the product came out on the safety pin and I saw even though it was thick, for hair color it’s fairly translucent. Red flag if you are experienced in regularly dying your hair 😩 if you want a lighter version or very temporary color it would be ideal, but for vibrance and hang time NOPE.-just when I rinsed it out, COLD WATER, and used no shampoo I could tell it was going to wash out quick, and I was right, it lasted about 3 washes total, pretty much gone after the 2nd wash honestly. My hair is not over processed or anything that would contribute to loss of color at that rate. I even use baby shampoo since it’s no harsh chemicals and honestly has helped preserve my colors better than any “color saving” products on the market.Another thing I didn’t favor was it didn’t stick to my freshly bleached roots. Again experienced hair artists know that usually will be the brightest spot, as well as bleaching helping seal color in if you do it correctly in a time period.So PRETTY MUCH if you want something temporary, or you’re wanting to test drive a color but not ready to commit; this is perfect.However if you’re looking for something that is long lasting, this is not it. May be a basic bih but I’ve been doing this for 17 years and have tried dozens of dye products and ion color brilliance I personally don’t feel can be beat. Extremely vibrant color, very minimal bleeding/transfer after coloring and even that just depends on the color, you may not get any bleeding or transfer at all. It also lasts a long time, as well as fades evenly so you won’t have splotchy hair as it fades, you’ll just go through lighter shades ofItself.

I applied the juniper green over faded blue hair and expected it to end up teal - fortunately, it ended up the shade I wanted. My hair was already bleached so the green is very vibrant. I’m pleasantly surprised!

Quedó hermoso pero salió más naranja que rosa, hay que matizar el amarillo de la decoloración antes de usarlo. Casi no deja residuos al lavarlo, el cabello absorbe prácticamente tido el tinte y no mancha. Trae algo de aceite en la mezcla que te deja el cabello suavecito.Le doy 4 estrellas porque se tardó casi 2 meses en llegar, pero es porque vivo en México.

Es buen tinte y un bonito color que yo mezclo con otro, pero se nota que el vendedor no quiere vender y no volveré a comprar ya que de $200 subió a $800 lo cual es ridiculo. Que cierre su tienda aquí y ya

El color es perfecto y no mancha la almohada al dormir ni puesto de ese mismo día
