The forceps work great and I like how there was two of the holders that extend. I have one for pliers and one is for the line snips. The net holder itself works great and the magnets are strong. Overall the kit was worth it!

This tool kit is perfect for someone looking to start fly fishing. All of the tools included are very functional and are easy to attach to most bags or molly’s. The T-Bar holds up to 5 spools of tippet which is great and allows you to have easy access on the water. This kit is great for someone starting out and especially for the price.

So far so good. I was surprised at how long the clamps were but they still work well. The retractors seem about average in quality so no complaints there either. The tippet spool holder is probably ok but I am not using that. I will give it to my son and see what the thoughts are on that. The nippers are ok as well. Magnetic release is plenty strong but the flex coil doesn't seem like it will hold up very well. Just a feeling but I am not hopeful

Nippers cut cleanly and zingers zing like every other I have ever owned. I own several other magnetic net releases, and these seem solid enough. However the magnets are housed in plastic unlike all my others which are aluminum. But it seems to be high quality plastic at least. Tippet holder is much larger then any of the others I have owned. Listing says it will hold 5 rolls, but it can easily hold more. My favorite piece in the kit is the 7.5" curved stainless steel hemostats. Most hemostats have small finger holes and I have big hands. These fit perfectly. No fumbling to get a hold of them. The trout I catch will definitely appreciate a quicker release. The whole thing was neatly packaged as well. Well worth it if you are just starting out, or building additional vests or packs as I am.

Nice kit, I only use the net lanyard, the rest is junk and I have to my kids. Unless you are starting out, or need a specific item, save money and buy something else.

forceps were absurdly long, the clipper takes some effort to cut through even the thinnest of line (factory dull), spool holder was ok. the only thing really usable from this kit is the magnetic rod holder.
