Very easy to use and great quality. Functionality overall is what you expect and very easy to clean after use. Battery was a little low when recieved ,but it's very easy to replace yourself and not a big issue. Measures temp easily and comes as a staple in any animal first aid kit.

This is a fine thermometer but as others have mentioned, it comes with a battery that’s virtually drained already so you might want to order a pack at the same time. A bit annoying.

My vet suggested we start taking our dog’s temperature as she constantly had a high temp at the vets. He suspected it was just because she was becoming too stressed. Once he showed us how to do it I found it really easy. We also asked the vet to compare the reading with his and it’s exactly the same. Brilliant purchase would definitely recommend for those lucky people who have to take their pets temperature.

Very disappointing that I can’t use the thermometer right away because the battery doesn’t work. I can’t find LR54 batteries locally, so I have to order again from Amazon and they won’t come now for a few days after the bank holiday.

Bought as my cat wasn’t too good , I have a decent one for me I bought during covid and this is just as accurate as I tried it before attempting it on the cat lol and reads quick prob 20 seconds , well what it doesn’t come with is an extra pair of hands to hold your cat to do the job , but that’s not the thermometers fault , anyway it’s good if you can actually manage to get the cat in any kind of strangle hold , product recommended
