I'm amazed at how clean my windows are since I started using this. It is extremely concentrated, only requires 2 capfuls (which are small) in 1 gallon of water. Removes hard water spots too. No streaking.

Works very well. At Two capfuls per gallon, it will last a long time. Well worth the m.

That's about it. for many years I've used a window cleaning solution made locally by a family owned janitorial supply that had been here for as long as I have (Bradley's Janitorial Supply, Escondido, CA) It was a highly concentrated 'Squeegee' cleaner which resembled a very heavy but NOT soapy syrup. A couple of capfuls and if you wanted a dash of clear ammonia and you were all set. Well, the place went out of business in the last couple of years, so I've been searching for a replacement. Being familiar with Unger as one of the most well known window cleaning suppliers, I tried this cleaning solution here. Sorry, not impressed... Basically is has a very heavy but pleasant perfume in it. The deal is, that window cleaning solution has to be strong enough in order to clean properly and as a bones HOPEFULLY be slippery enough for the squeegee to glide effortlessly over the glass. Well, it cleaned 'Okay', but there was what I felt a lot of drag on the glass. So, I added more, thinking that maybe that would make it more slippery. Nope... It just made wiping the excess off the glass EXTREMELY difficult, and it would not wipe off. Too concentrated. So, it the actual cleaning power is very average. It is NOT slippery enough to make using a squeegee glide over the glass like it should. And, if you add more, on the edges where it might dry, when you try to wipe it off, you can't. Not really that great, so I threw the bottle away although nearly full. Most definitely ***NOT*** recommended by someone who has owned a window cleaning business going into my 45th year now. I've never been a big fan of the 'Joy' approach due to its drying so quickly in the sun. I'm gonna try the new Basic H2. I had used the original Basic H in the past and it worked great, so we'll see... ***EDIT Okay, I just thought I would come back here and mention how it went with the new Basic H2. Well, it was great! A ***HUGE*** improvement over this Unger cleaner, I must say. So, I just HAD to come back and let whoever wishes to know, that the Basic H2 is a TREMENDOUSLY better choice! Like I had mentioned earlier in my review, I've been doing this professionally as an owner with my Dad in this family business going on almost 45 years now. So, for whatever that is worth... :D But yeah, the Basic H2 was awesome! I mixed about half a capful in about 1/2 to 2/3 a pailful of water, maybe about 2 gallons. Bloody perfect! The nice new, Sorbo squeegees glided effortlessly over the glass, just like it is supposed to do. But, the nice thing was that when I went to wipe the edges where it might have dried a little, it was wonderfully EASY to wipe that excess off, even where it had dried. UNLIKE the Unger above. So, win-win both ways. Now, the REAL test of course would be in direct sunlight. Because there when it dries very quickly around the edges and then you go to wipe it off, that is where for example the disadvantage of using Joy comes in. But, just in the shade where it had dried somewhat, it came off beautifully with a towel on the edges. So, I think I've found my new cleaner (which really I had discovered the original Basic H a long time ago but had kind of lost track of it) Basic H2. DAMN good stuff! HIGHLY recommended. Less money, more concentrated, extremely more gliding ability for the squeegee, and the dried edges easily wiped off with a towel. There you go! : )
