Once the battery tape is removed the slightest touch of the handle sets these off. The brilliant part is the noise is effective while being low and not annoying. Exactly enough for the wee ones to pull and throw as the grenades sound off. Once the handle is pulled, the light on the front blinks and a timer starts. 3 seconds later you hear a simulated explosion. Sturdy enough build to take a toss but not sturdy enough to be deliberately thrown directly at the ground. Great toys, low impact, effective, loud enough to be fun while being quiet enough not to drive parents and animals mad.

More fun than expected for an army themed children`s birthday party. Great color and noise and quality built toy product for rough play. value for money and highly recommended for intended use.

Cheap and cheerful great fun

These fun (but really annoying when they land on your lap as you watch the tv) grenades are well made. Ours have survived being thrown off a high sleeper bed, rolled along a wooden floor, and chucked into the laps of unsuspecting adults numerous times and are still working fine. The noise is pretty loud so I am not sure they would be suitable for houses with pets in. The noise is very artificial so there is no chance anyone will think they are anything other than a toy just in case you wondered.

Kids love these, but they drove me mad with the noise

My boys are WW2 obsessed and love playing war games. They love these! The noises they make are great (if a little annoying to grown ups!!).

One grenade didn’t work from the start. Other two broken within an hour. Cheap, poor quality goods.
