YYST One Stainless Steel Scuba Diving Lanyard Stainless Steel Spring Coiled Lanyard with Quick Release Buckle for Cameras and Dive Lights

I wasn't sure if this would work well, it seemed bulky and clumsy. But I used it to attach my dive light on my last dive trip and it actually worked pretty well. When clasped it doesn't hang too far down, and when in the water, it's easy to reach, unhook the clasp and use whatever object you have attached, I was using a dive light. It extended easily and I was able to maneuver my light where I needed it. When I didn't need my light, I just clasped it back and it stayed out of the way.

Great gear. Hooked my flashlight on it and never had to worry. Was always attached to be and never came off. Hat it clipped to the front of my BCD worked very well. Long enough to use it even if Not extended.

Dove with this on a liveaboard and it was perfect. It even worked for backwards rolls off dingy.

This product was amazing. I used it on my BCD and attached my Garmin Virb to it so it was hanging way down while I dive. If I needed more room for my camera I just unclipped the middle clip and was able to move my camera around freely while keeping it attached to my selfie stick and BCD. This could work just as well for a spare dive light if you keep one on your BCD like I do for a backup.

I bought this for use with my underwater camera. It works well, I clip one end to the camera the other to my bcd and keep the clip latched when entering/ exiting the water. Then when i'm ready to shoot I unclip the center latch and there is more than enough give to use the camera freely, while still secure to my bcd. I also use a separate wrist strap w/ the camera. When it's time to exit I clip the center latch and still hold on to the camera when climbing the ladder. However occasionally when my hands are cold I sometimes fumble un-clipping it from my bcd to hand it off to someone on the boat as the metal clip isn't the easiest to open with gloves or cold fingers. Not sure what the black cord would/ should be used for I don't use it at all.

I've been using this on my GoPro for scuba diving for over 2 years, and over 100 dives. It has been going strong, and still functions like it did when I first got it. Even with a heavy torch attached to it along with the GoPro, it still functions really well. Really impressed with the durability of this super inexpensive product. I definitely abuse it. When clipped up, the loop can be put around your hand as well. I've found this is very useful in many adventure sport situations.

I used this as a backup security strap for my Gopro while diving. It's easy to attach to my BCD and I looped the lanyard around the base of my Gopro. When unclipped the coil is long enough for me to fully extend my arm. It's perfect for my needs and will now be a permanent fixture when I dive and take pictures. I can easily unclip the camera and hand it over to someone as I climb out of the boat. I fo wish the lanyard were a thin nylon material that I could securely fasten into the Gopro mount but I can still use it with the thicker lanyard looped around the mount. Other than that it does exactly what I want.

The shipping was lightning fast. I was told to expect it in a week and it came in 2 days! The product seems well made (the steel coil cable is superior to the plastic/rubber ones in the market). Turned out to be quite compact and will help reduce and streamline my diver profile. Love it!

Does what it says and has worked for over 45 dives up to 40m with no issue at all. Great product for good price.
