Does not fit.
Does not fit 2014 F150 XLT. Lid is not wide enough. It's about an inch short.

Fits my 2011 Ford F-150 Platinum truck added security mods
This console safe is just a lid. It is make from steel with a 1.67mm thickness. I think it will get the job done to deter a thief who is doing a smash and grab. The front is sandwiched around the plastic lip of the front of the console. I used two of the the "cSeao 20pcs M6 x 30mm Pin-in-Torx Button Head Security Screws" (see below) on the exposed screws on the front of the lid. Buy two M6 lock nuts locally (less costly) for the exposed front screws. Since there is no metal frame, a thief could pry the front of the lid of with some tools and a little time. If the thief had the proper star bit or allen screw bit they could easily remove the rear of the lid. I had to bend the front brackets so they would squeeze the plastic lip better, otherwise it was too loose. Don't count on the 3 factory screws to hold the rear as they are not long enough. I used three "cSeao 20pcs M6 x 30mm Pin-in-Torx Button Head Security Screws" that I bought off of Amazon to replace them (see below). I also put two 1/4" flat washers behind the lid flange at each of the three screws to leave less of a gap in the front. I decreased the gap so it would be more difficult to pry open. Use Locktite on all screws so they don't come loose later, (Use BLUE or even better RED to fruther increase security). I also purchased a combination lock to replace the key lock for more convenience. (Search "YAODHAOD Combination Cabinet Cam Lock" on Amazon $10.99). Order the 3/4" version in chrome or black. It came today and I am impressed with the quality. Installaton was easy with no modification needed. When you remove the tab retaining screw don't let the center of the lock slip out. MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE COMBINATION BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE LOCK. For security the tab that you need to press to change the combination does not appear in the proper spot after you have installed the lock. Press and HOLD the pin to change the combination. I initially preferred something more secure than this lid but with the use of the "M6 30mm cSeao 20cs M6 30mm button head security screws" on Amazon ($8.49) and the addition of the washers I believe this is now a very secure setup. Finally, I placed some rubber tool box liner on top of the lid so anything I put on top of it will not slide around. I'm thinking of cutting out some of the lid underside tabs with a Dremel (i.e. pencil holder, MP3 player holder etc) so I will have more room to store stuff. The tray will no longer fit in the console. FYI, I also tried the "A-Premium Center Console Safe Box" but unfortunately it was too large (11-5/8" by 9") for my console. I really liked the thicker steel, metal frame, and combination lock on it. The price was good at $139.99.

Great buy and easy install
A nice and sturdy lock box for a truck. Easy to install and pretty rugged. Good value for the price. Can store without losing any of the space in your console. I can fit my carry gun and valuables in it if needed.

cover
Good product. this is just a fortified cover, cannot use the tray anymore that sits in the console. Instructions are terrible. Otherwise would have only taken 10 mins to install.

Super simple theft deterrent box
Look any their determined enough will figure out a way to steal your stuff. Most security stuff is meant to deter theft or just make it difficult enough so they dont have time to get to the stuff to steal. This case is exactly that. Solid steel plate that bolts onto your existing frame with out having to modify / drill into your truck. I absolutely love this thing. I work at a company that doesn’t allow weapons onsite and am lucky to live in a state that says companies can’t enforce this to include inside a persons vehicle while in their parking lot.. so I use this as a secure way to store my firearm while in sensitive places that won’t allow me to carry it. Wonderful product easy to install (less than 5 minutes) and is well made for its purpose.
