Benfitiamin is a precursor for vitamin B1 in white coconut oil and encapsulated in a clear jel. It's essential for activating the mitochondria. That's what I read about it and that's why I bought it. Water based vitamins B1 or thymine have a better chance of getting to individual cells in an oil-based form.

I paid 12.49 for 1/2 of powder. The way the item is displayed is very, very misleading, which is a large picture giveing the impression that the contents of the package no matter what size you buy will be large. If the pictuere was not so in your face, the customer might get an accurate feel for what 1/2 looks . Will not buy this product again. Thanks anyway.

I bought the 2 ounce / 57 Gram packet of benfotiamine. There is NO serving size scoop included. I have a 100 capsule maker and This packet filled exactly 100 capsules. Here is the math for those not familiar with converting Grams to MG. I converted 57 Grams into 57000 mg. Then I divided that by 100 capsules which equals 570 mg. in each capsule. It is too early to know what this is doing for me but I can say that it makes me extremely thirsty. I was taking it at night hoping to sleep better but I was waking up painfully thirsty so I am switching to take it in the morning it is easier to drink more during the day than during the night. I gave some of the caps to a friend and she told me that the benfotiamine made her very thirsty also.

A little goes a long way with this, and it seems taking it straight without food provides more energy than taking it with food, where it may be utilized differently, similar to B3

Is this a joke??? I got no scoop, not even enough powder in the bag to “scoop” Are you running some kind of scam.😤

Not sure if it works or if it was what I needed but, the quality is great. You get a tiny spoon in the bag for a measured amount so, no worries with "how much" to take.
