Rowenta XD6086 NanoCaptur Filter Formaldehyde Remover for PU6020 and PU6010 Intense Pure Air XL Purifier

OKAY, Let me get started. #1 is my home reads high in Formaldehyde and other toxins, just like your home is. #2 There are one heck of a lot of other toxins, gasses and particulates adrift in your tightly sealed work spaces & homes also and of course, our "Man Caves-"OMG!" I know because I am a retired Building Contractor, Engineer, SeaBee and USN EOD Master Chief. My question to you is, "How Many Filters Do You Know That Really Remove Formaldehyde and is affordable, PERIOD?? Answer, "NONE." My Point Is, this filter works very well with the Rowenta PU6020 Intense Air XL System. I know because I have monitored my home now for a month, High levels of Co2 and HCHO (Formaldehyde). I purchased and placed (2) Rowenta PU6020 Intense Air XL Systems, purchased here at Amazon, best Price Point On-Line! In addition, I purchased 1 full (3 filters) set of Rowenta Replacement Filters. The pre-filter #1 does not need to be replaced, just cleaned. Again, I placed one PU6020 XL in my Living area (800 sf) and one in the master bedroom (384 sf). After 3 days of use, my HCHO readings went from .788, down to .089 mg/m3 and Co2 from 2661 ppm to 458 ppm. TVOC's, PM2.5's and PM10's also saw significant reductions. Bottom line is, Rowenta has hit the nail squarely "On The Head!". Their XD6086 Filter is and does exactly what they are touted to do. I am completely amazed and impressed with the awesome performance. They have exceeded my every expectation! This system and their filters perform and are cost effective. My Disclaimer: I am not a paid, award getting, discount glutton for providing this review but when I get something that works without a lot of hype and bluster and can provide supportive information to you from realtime experience, training and education, "That Is What I just provided!" I purchased this type of filter for the things I might not realize are in the air, not just the seen and smelled. So until the electricity went out, I had not known how well it was working (at least for odors). The unit had been placed in a central hallway, across from the cat litter box. When the power was interrupted, it was easy to discern that this filter had been continuously eliminating used cat litter odors. I think I am neither the best nor the worst at keeping cat litter pans cleaned; but when this revelation occurred, I knew just how important this type of filter would continue to be to me. We continually breathe all kinds of unknown items in our air...sheetrock dust, gravel road dust, cat litter odors, trash can odors...you name it; so I believe it is important to filter our air in confined spaces whenever possible. I have another similar filter in my bedroom, and it definitely enables me to sleep better and wake without stuffiness. This filter is probably to best one so far.

Works great just very expensive. I gave it a 4 due to the high price.

Just like the HEPA filter, this Nano filter is twice the cost that was just a few years ago. Because this is one of three filters in the entire air purifier, replacing every air filter has gotten staggeringly more expensive. Rowenta just lost a long-time Customer because the cost of filter replacement has gotten officially insane.

It works great. The directions are lacking. In fact, couldn't find information anywhere on the internet on the filter that has to be connected.

This filter is part of a system of 4 filters altogether. The whole system is easy to use and to replace.

This filter is one of 4 in my air purifier, expensive replacing all of them but the benifits of have it is worth it.
