First thing, I installed a check valve. One with an internal spring will work. I bought a male Leur Lock for an aquarium air pump to dry the hose and check valve after each use. This electric enema works by having a sealed container with a little air pressure on top of the water. The electric pump only pumps air to create the air pressure. It never gets wet or dirty. The limited capacity of 1 liter is easy to overcome by having a container to replenish. The check valve allows removal of the top without any backwash. It is easy to control by simply occasionally turning it off and on. My favorite way to remove the occasional blockage. I have been using this for over a year now. I still think it is the best. I have improved it in two ways. Install a hose converter 1/4 to 5/16, the standard for most enema sets. Began using a blue plastic hemostat as a shut off for filling etc.

This battery powered enima is easy to use. Pump works fine but its not perfect. One of the biggest issue is the air. Whatever you do or try, bubbles are building up. second issue i am seeing in hygiene. When you turn it off, somehow it sucks the debris inside and its hard to clean.

Good shipping and quality product, easy to mount up, works good. Value for money. A lock off valve would have been better than the plastic clamp.

I tried it once. It pumped the fluid way too fast for my comfort. I wound up with a lot of air in my colon. The pinch valve does not work with so small a tube. Go get yourself a silicon fountain type enema bag at a site like optimal health network.

Didn't expect much from this and was pleasantly surprised. Wish the bottom was sloped towards the exit hole but aside from there being water in the bottom after use (yes you can tilt it if you want) this thing is amazing!

Bought this for legitimate medical reasons as an MS patient. The item itself is made of cheap and nasty plastic including the tubing and fitments. It hasn't got the power to pump a full tank off the floor as stated. It also had me doubled over in pain as there is no anti air valve which causes air to be pumped into your body while you try to switch it off with a tiny, poxy switch! I have a Pic fullwash 2L gravity system which cost £10 & is infinitely better than this. If it was the type of item I could return I'd be trying for a full refund. I’m a colonic practitioner I thought I would try this battery enema bucket …. What a total disappointment! I had flow back into the bucket .. this should Never happen, the bucket needs a non return valve, without that things can get unhygienic and messy .. I’ve stopped recommending it to my clients / patients. Very disappointed .
