The Tapo L530E (2‑Pack) Smart Bulbs are great value for money. They’re easy to set up, connect to Wi‑Fi without a hub, and work well with the app or voice control. The colours are bright and easy to change, and the bulbs let you adjust the brightness to suit any mood. Overall, they’re simple, reliable, and a nice upgrade for any home.

I got 4 bulbs to replace longe/ dining table lamps bulbs (connected via Amazon Smart Plugs) as I found the fixed Cool light too bright when watching TV etc. Very easy to set up via the TAPO App, which is automatically recognised by the Alexa App. There were various bulbs available on Amazon, but I decided to pay a little bit more as I knew TP Link / TAPO from PC/Network kit I used at work and home which was always excellent. Once set up the bulbs work excellent, I changed the settings group to "LIGHTS", and basically just say "Light On/Off - Lights 10 or 50 or 100 for brightness - Various colours of White from Warm to Cool or Daylight - Although I will probably not use it, I got the Colour Version of bulbs which also works very well giving endless colours. Note- Its best to give each bulb a different name to allow you to setup individual colours if in same area, then put them into a group to activate them all at same time. I have bought another couple as I am very pleased with the quality and ease of use and I now have 6 x spare Alexa Smart Sockets. Highly recommend these TAPO Bulbs.

These bulbs are bright and look great once you set a colour. Installation was easy, and they work well with the app overall. The colour control does offer live updates as you drag around the picker, which is helpful but there’s a noticeable delay before the bulb actually changes. Combined with the small size of the colour selector in the app, it makes it tricky to dial in the exact shade you want, especially for comfortable lighting during migraines. Unfortunately, the delay and the tiny colour selector are the reason I’ll be returning them. Overall, the bulbs deliver good brightness and colour options for the price, but the app experience leaves something to be desired if precise, real time colour control is important.

Bought one bulb, I loved it so much that I have now replaced all lights in my home with Tapo. I can have my lights on ready for when I come home, instead of walking in to complete darkness. I love all the colours in any hue and any setting from 1% -100%. I don’t have to move , just tell Alexa what I want and it’s done. No more finger prints on sockets. Such a huge range of modes from bedtime to away on holiday to turn on at dusk.. these are amazing. So many more settings. I hated the thought of having these, but wow, I’m so happy I tried one, as now I am going fully smart. So easy to install as well. Connection in 2 minutes Inc Alexa, at the press of a button. I am going to get a smart pack sorted for my daughter now for Xmas. Honestly if you are like me and hated the thought of a smart home, please buy one and try, I promise you will replace everything. Your whole home at the touch of a button from absolutely anywhere!! I did think it would be too difficult for me to use as well, being an older person with less technical ability everyday. They really could not be any easier, I promise you.

I have a pair of these bulbs in bedroom lamps. They work well with Alexa and some good app settings. details below; * unlimited colour options and a nice warm white as default * very bright but down to 5% is usable as ambient light * App has some nice features like the time it takes to go to the brightness set, so set it to 10secs and bulb takes 10seconds to dim and go off * with Alexa grouping you can have them come on together * Alexa can give the brightness command to these bulbs too so can be adjusted depending on how bright you are They are very good value for money and I also have Govee bulbs

These are easy to connect and use, the tape app is better than most smart apps giving good control to get the light how you prefer it, the only negative is that occasionally the bulb will turn itself on randomly

If you want a smart home - these are an absolute must have! Nice and bright, and great functionality through the Tapo app where you can setup rules and schedules to turn on/off at certain times. Fun use of colours too!

I’ve given these three stars, which I think is fair given the level of frustration they caused during setup — particularly when trying to link them with Alexa. If you’re buying these and plan to use Alexa, please read this carefully. The instructions are woeful and strongly imply that you can link the bulbs simply via the Alexa app by enabling the Tapo skill. You can’t — not successfully, anyway — until you first give permission in the third-party services section of the Tapo app. I spent hours repeatedly trying to link the Tapo Alexa skill. It kept “linking”, but nothing ever appeared in Alexa and nothing worked. No errors, no warnings — just endless failure. The crucial step is not clearly explained anywhere. I cannot stress this enough: you must enable Alexa access inside the Tapo app first. Asking Alexa to link the skill on its own will get you absolutely nowhere, despite the instructions suggesting otherwise. Once I finally discovered this and got everything connected, I have to say the bulbs themselves are excellent. They’re bright, responsive, and work very well with Alexa once properly set up. The only minor niggle is that the colour picker can be a bit finicky if you’re trying to get a very specific shade first time. I’m still resentful about the time wasted figuring this out — especially as I’ve added other smart lighting brands before with no issues, so this isn’t a case of being new to smart tech. Tapo really need to be far more explicit in their instructions. With better guidance, this would easily have been a four- or five-star product.

It excellent bulb compare to other brands,but only the white it's not very very very bright..but it's not bad at all .. but u can consider buying tp-link (tapo) without any hesitating because it's excellent brand.. the other color is so nice... but if u want so so white.. you should consider 10W or more ..
