I used to have a wood one that was a little wobbly. I decided to buy a new one aiming for stability and this easel stand met my expectations, it is very sturdy and super easy to assemble. I like that comes with a bag for carrying, making it portable to take anywhere. It holds all my canvases fine, and good height as well.

I use this easel for oil painting. I love that I can use different size canvases and that the easel is sturdy

This is a surprisingly adaptable easel stand. You can have it as a tabletop, or readjust to have it as a stand on the floor type (yes, I know, that's the technical term). As such, it is very versatile and perfect for an artist on the go or one that likes to move their art supplies around the house.We've only used the table-top height on this so far, but it was steady and held the canvas well. We have brought the legs out, and while it took a little figuring out to work all the components, once you got it it was easy enough to understand. Small and compact. Easy to travel with since it comes in it’s a little bag. The first time you assemble it it’s a little tricky. But once you got the hang of it it’s very simple.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift so obviously it hasn't been used yet. But from all previous reviews, it is a good easel and the shipping was amazing, arriving two day after purchase!

Not sturdy. Very flimsy

I wanted something lightweight and portable for trips. Well, it's certainly both of those. Stability wise, you'll need something to weigh it down. There's a hook under it for such a purpose. Since I'm only painting on canvas pads at the moment I just put a scrap wooden plank on the front.I don't recommend this for outdoor use if there's any wind. The clip at the top isn't very sturdy.Also, the tray it comes with is very flimsy. Limit it to lightweight items like brushes or small tubes of paint.

I'm so glad I bought this easel for drawing. It was a great purchase! It's lightweight, super easy to carry around. If you need it to be more stable, you just need to hang a bag with something heavy. I use it both for drawing and painting, and it works very well!I definitely recommend it!
