This fish food is great. It has a shaker on the top which makes it easy to add just the right amount of food to your tank. The food also does float on the top of the water not just sinking slowly to the bottom. I love that giving all of my fish time to eat without it just going straight to the bottom and creating waste. The bottle is big making it worth the money. Also all my fish likes the taste because they ate every bit of the food that was floating on top of the water. I will be buying again.

My fish absolutely love this food! Including my Pygmy Cory. It’s the perfect size for their tiny mouths so I usually give them a pinch down at the bottom of the tank along with their usual food. I like how small it is too due to it doesn’t dirty the water as much and it helps me gage how mush I’m feeding I appreciate that the bottle is filled completely! The food also isn’t filled with filler ingredients either which is something I really looked for. This little $9 bottle can definitely last me a long time so it’s so worth the money.

Best fish food on the market for a pellet. I have a handful of neon tetras and cherry barbs and this is the perfect size food for them. No more crushing flakes to dust to make sure they can actually be able to eat it before the bigger guys swallow them up like water roombas.

After researching nutrition for my aquariums I have firm confidence with Ultra Fresh Tropical Fish Food products. The 20 gallon was preparing itself while waiting over a year for the Neon Tetra family. In preparation for the delivery of 30 I purchased a container of the Ultra Fresh Tetra food. Today Dec 8, 2023 is the second day that my Neon Tetra family is home. They have been acclimated and the light turned off since yesterday. I let them wake up and then gave them their first breakfast which they devoured. It is good to note that the food container top has many little holes but only one is perforated. I shake a small amount into my palm and crush it even more and pinch bits into the aquarium. A little goes a long way! Update photo number one is feeding on day three Saturday Dec 9th. I was too late for an update video that had them so happy frantic but I think these first impressions are the most telling. The video, which speaks for itself, is from day four December 10. This 20 gallon aquarium is dedicated to the Neon Tetras. It is not my intention of adding any other species including catfish to the aquarium. Although the Tetra pellets are tiny, I do crush the pellets, turn off the filter and put small pinches in the water so as not to add too much. The Neon Tetras are shy so they’ll eat and play and then they all eat again so I let them eat for about 10 minutes. Neons let you know when they want to eat by swimming high in the water and when they’re done by just remaining near the bottom playing. The stillness of the water while they are eating lets the surface eating Neons create some of the slow sinking pellets. I have the Ultra Fresh guppy food and the catfish food for the 75 gallon aquarium. Ultra Fresh fish foods are awesome!

There’s no need for me to look for the best line of food for my fish! This product as well as there complete line, is perfect. The quality of the food and pricing is spot on! My fish love the small floating food and my bottom feeding babies enjoy the sinking pellets! There’s no nasty smell and the health of my fish has improved as well as their color!

If/when you compare the actual ingredients of competing brands, you'll only find one, maybe two, others that have such high quality ingredients and the absence of unhealthy fillers. This is a quality ingredient food. UPDATE!!!! I reduced this from a 5-star to a 3-star for one reason only. The reason is, this stuff is SO small it's amost like a powder, not a granule. It's SO tiny that even my small fish are too large for this food. Also, it is labeled as slow sinking, however, well over half of it sinks right away.

Fish love it. Food floats if you want it to sink take a pinch and place your fingers on the water.

My fish love this food and the tank remains clear, which it didn’t with the last lot I tried. Definitely recommend.
