Update: it does fit my work laptop (Dell) and Owala water bottle, it’s snug but works. Adding a case to the laptop though would make it difficult to close the bag. My MacBook Air (mini) fit much better and has a case on it. Old review: Doesn't fit my laptop and Owala 24oz water bottle at the same time, but this is such a perfect bag. It makes my outfit look 10xs cuter and its still very spacious and comfortable. It holds the water bottle and coffee thermos along with other things, but i wanted to try and squeeze my smaller laptop in there. A laptop can fit without a cover, but its TIGHT and you can't really put anything else large in there after. I'm keeping it and bought the bigger version so I can carry my laptop around sometimes too.

Update: it’s been 2 months of daily use in Europe carrying SO much stuff. And it’s been really adaptable. I’m like a walking advertisement for this backpack, because I love it so much. Wish there was more padding on the shoulders, but otherwise it’s been a great bag. I can carry a ton of stuff for me and kid - including a portable potty, wipes, water bottle, umbrella, tissue, wallet, sunglasses, etc. so much fits into this bag. Hasn’t ripped at the seams, nothing’s coming apart, it’s been amazing! (You can see it in use at @wanderlustphamily on Instagram if you care to) —— Ordered 3 different brands and I liked this one the most! Photo uploaded shows the bags: (left to right) 1) ERFEI: cheapest (by $10), but the fabric outside was much shinier and didn't look as real, and the inside fabric was the same as Cheruty - not as nice as Telena. This is a great, inexpensive option though, as it's a good size and has all the same features as the Cheruty at a discount. However, could not fit my 13" macbook pro, as it's a smaller size. I'm sure if they had a large size, it'd be able to. 2) CHERUTY: This largest bag!! Loved the size of this bag. This is the 2nd best in fabric and quality. Can fit my 13" macbook pro as well without much struggle 3) TELENA: this pleather was the most real looking, and the interior fabric was better quality. I like that the opening was bigger than the others, and the zipper went up higher on the backside than the others, making it easier to put in my macbook pro, even though it's overall size is smaller than the Cheruty. This one seems slightly heavier than the other two as well. I also ordered the Khaki Cheruty Nylon version, and I have to say that I love the pleather look better. Just got the bags, so can't say to durability, but I plan to travel to Europe with it for a few months, so i'll let you know how it lasts! Will update if things fall apart.

I bought several different colors of these. I kept one packed with school things when I was still working as a professor, and another held a complete change of casual clothing, a pair of pajamas, and essential toiletries and medications so I was always ready for an overnight trip. I use this as my purse when traveling internationally by plane. I slip my smaller crossbody bag inside, plus all my medications and jewelry bag, plus two changes of underwear, pajamas, a clean shirt and pants. I also have my Android tablet (same size as larger iPad) and even have taken my surface pro 3 laptop. The small crossbody bag has my passport/covid vaccination card case, a small notebook and pen, my earbuds, and my tickets and one of those folding flat hairbrushes. There is still plenty of room to add a last minute magazine or brochure. Once at my destination it becomes my day pack for excursions. The pajamas are out and the jewelry is in the safe, and I add in a water bottle, the day's itinerary, a very small folding umbrella (if appropriate), and a light jacket. Still lots of room. It's lightweight, sturdy and fashionable with the lovely patterns. It is easy to find a particular item since there are lots of inside pockets. The zippers pull easily, the stitching is impeccable, and the design that keeps your valuables far away from thieves is right on target. When getting on the plane, I use the shoulder strap to make it look more purse-like and avoid accusations of having two carry-ons, but use the backpack straps when moving through the airport and on the excursions which makes it easy to carry even when stuffed full. My last trip it did get scuffed up, but I think that was due to overzealous stuffing of the bag under a seat on a small airplane, rather than any flaw with the bag.

Initial order was damaged during shipping but replacement was received lightning fast. The cream color is beautiful and material is so soft, but does scuff and mark easily. The back zipper entry is great for safety but is an adjustment if you're used to a top zipper or open topped bag. It's also easy to accidentally unzip all the way, spilling the entire contents of the bag. There are tons of pockets though and the main compartment alone fit my whole toiletry bag, a book, my wallet and my phone on a recent flight. Fabulous for travel - more spacious than it appears! Overall, great bag.

I absolutely love my new bag! Thought it would be more pink and gray plaid but it was more tan and orange but its still so cute!!!. Soft leather. I can see how other reviews mention zippers...just go easy, the bag itself is beautiful and well made

Never written a review before but I do really enjoy this bag and wanted to include photos I thought would be helpful. I use this as a work bag and I’m very happy with it! I’ve had it for about a month and it is holding up very well. Note- my ruler in the photos is actually 13in with about a .5 in extra on each side. I also don’t have it fully packed so the dimensions with ruler might be off slightly Pros: -stores more than you think! I store all the items in the photo (minus water bottle) plus my outside clothes when I go to work in here. I’ve put in jeans, overalls, leather jacket, blouses etc in here and I’ve been able to make it fit. - zippers and pockets and material are all durable! I haven’t been treating this bag delicately and I haven’t noticed any decline in performance of zippers or scratches/ marks on outside of the bag. Even when the bag has been very heavy I’ve never been concerned about the straps or anything like that Cons: - front pocket is not that large The front pocket is about 4in deep and I can fit a travel size hand sanitizer/wipes and folded up shopping bag. Personally I would have liked it to be a bit bigger -material catching on side pockets I like using the side pockets to hold my keys or earphones so I can just pull the zipper down while I’m walking and it can be convenient. However the inside lining can sometimes get caught when trying to zip it back up again. - side pouch for water bottles is small. In the photo I was able to fit my hydro flask in the side pouch, but just barely (bottle is abt 3in in diameter) and that’s with taking a grip thingy off the bottle. I usually end up carrying the water bottle on the inside of the backpack. Overall I think this is a good work or school backpack. It can easily fit an 11x 8.5 sketchbook and a 13in MacBook at the same time plus other items. I never worry in big crowds about my bag being opened with the main compartment zipper being on the back. I would say 8/10

I previously had a smaller Lauren Conrad backpack and needed to start carrying my planner and another small notebook in it instead of carrying them in hand and forgetting them in my car or house, but the LC bag was too small. I did a bunch of research on Amazon backpacks and landed on this one. Another reviewer who also did research and compared a few different backpacks was a huge help in convincing me this is the right one for me. I absolutelyyyy love this backpack. I initially thought it would be odd having the main pocket against my back when wearing it, but I'm a big fan of that. I keep the most important things in that pocket so they're more protected being against my body. I love that there are two side pockets; I haven't put drinks in them but I have used them for things I need to stash quickly like keys or change. There are two kind of hidden zipper pockets on the front that are nice for things I might need/want to quickly access but maybe not as frequently as the other side pockets. The amount of pockets in the inside is wonderful and the front pocket it really nice too; it's sometimes a little more tedious to get into but I take that as another security feature, plus I've been used to a flap front pocket instead of zipper. Another nice feature, although I haven't used it yet, is the crossbody strap for flexibility in how you want to carry it. The color is beautiful; I've always been a big fan of camel, and this is a darker maybe more caramel shade and it's so gorgeous. The main pocket fits my planner, notebook, lip balm/stick bag, a couple smaller bags, and wallet with plenty of room to spare. Highly recommend.

I have one in lighter brown. I wore it so much its showing worn spots. Ive had it years Once I got it, I stopped using any other of my bags. It is the perfect backpack imo. I love how the zipper is not facing back. Feel so much more secure. Great size.
