I've utilized the smaller 1" brackets to augment the meager mounting capabilities of many electric and electronic devices that have eschewed proper mounting brackets in favor of swoopy lines and decorations. Many power strips suffer from this mis-feature. But when epoxied with JB-Weld epoxy to the sides of such devices, these brackets provide a secure way to mount them properly onto a utility board using screws. None of this silly "slide-on into slots from the back" nonsense that is easy for manufacturers to make but is really not at all secure.I also have used the larger 1.6" brackets in the more traditional way, to reinforce shelves and furniture and they work great - they're thick, heavy duty, manufacturing is consistent (they're all the same), and the screws are provided.16 of them might be too many for some projects but at least these aren't massively overpriced and only offered in gigantic sized lots like so much small hardware on Amazon these days. Like I need a hundred of -anything- from a hardware store.

The media could not be loaded. Great strong L plates. Can be used to brace boards that keep falling out of place from repetitive movements. Kit comes with screws. No need to buy separately.

Surprised how hard it was at my local hardware stores to find just this item. If you have a purpose to get these brackets then you won’t be disappointed in them. They look good and have good quality. Also comes with plenty.

I made a base and needed to attach it securely to the cabinet I was building. Couldn't use pocket holes, or screws. Saw these and though I'd give them a try. They were perfect. Attached the bottom with 12 of them (maybe overkill, but better safe then sorry), and the cabinet is perfectly level. Screws were the perfect size. I was using 1/2 inch pine into 3/4 inch cabinet grade plywood. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

Performed as constructed

I needed a bracket that wasn't to bulky but still had the strength. I used these to frame my dishwasher after remodeling our kitchen. They worked great and was easy to deal with. And the screws didn't strip out when you used them. Good product and good value.

The photos in the item description show that the screw heads fully countersink into the provided holes. This was not true of he set I bought. The screw heads protruded above the countersink hols. Fortunately, I cannot see this in my application. But if you need flush screw heads, don't buy these
