Japanese curry powder
Really love this . Gives the taste of Katsu curry I crave sometimes . Keep it in the packet in a jar in the fridge. May go lumpy in time in the packet but just crush with a spoon ,it's well worth it for the taste ,nice to find something vegan .

Gluten free
This is a fabulous mix for Japanese style katsu , not too spicy and is very tasty too , I didn't have any reaction after eating this ( I have coeliac disease) a bit more expensive but it's worth it , very easy to use and it has great quality, it's not something I would buy weekly but it is value for money as you get more than one serving

amazing test
The test is amazing, it's not spicy which is great. Love it and will order again but I wish it was cheaper for a small pack

Tasted okay
Expensive for what it was, tasted alright but I’ve bought similar products for a £1 from other stores.

This makes a really yummy curry, even better than gluten-containing curry cubes. It’s made with high quality ingredients that are a lot better for you, too. Some say it’s too pricey but I think this packet is more than worth the price. It’s my favorite curry, and I’m a repeat buyer.

Delicious, mild heat, makes 5 meals. Add toward the end of cooking your dish.

Further Update: the curry will thicken up great if you bring it to a gentle boil. Update: we made curry a second time and used half of the packet with 2 cups water/broth. We added a little powdered glutinous rice mixed with water. It was perfect! This is our first foray into making Japanese curry at home after the whole family fell in love with curry on a trip to Japan. I am comparing the flavor to curry at local Japanese restaurants and at the Japanese curry chain. The flavor is really good! We did 2 cups water/broth to 1/2 cup of the roux. It tasted great but was not as thick as we like. I ended up adding a teaspoon cornstarch mixed with cold water to get it to a still-thin consistency. At our ratio, I think we can get 2 meals from one package. We may experiment with some other options but this was a good (and delicious) first try!

I have been GF for 10 years and have been missing my S&B Japanese Curry cubes BADLY! So happy to finally find a gluten free version! This stuff is DELICIOUS! I know the price tag seems a little steep, but it's worth every penny! No recipe on the bag, but if you scroll the reviews, a few people added their recipes and I used that as a guide. Super easy!
