I unfortunately didn't have to buy this product, the one I have is working much better than this one, how do I return this item it's not matching my expectations.

One -for-one replacement- identical fit and function. Was able to clear the 'check engine light' after installing this unit. Point of interest: The OBD II needed to have the engine running to clear the code- the keyless ignition (2019 Buick Encore) when turned on to "accessory" does not permit the OBD II tester/computer to clear the codes even while the tester says to shut engine off and turn key on...only worked (for me) with the engine running. You may have different results. Be sure to check your instructions before doing it this way.
