Affordable replacement toilet seat
It seems to be a sturdy, well crafted item that serves its purpose. Quick shipping and solid packaging. Easy installation with minimal tools or expertise needed. The only issue I had was not great plastic screws and nuts to attach the seat to the toilet. They get to the point of being tight but then pop over the threads, loosening again (like it needs an additional washer). I wish that I had the foresight to keep the bolts and nuts from the original seat but I threw then out. Since I like a seat that does not move, I purchased heavier duty plastic bolts and nuts with an assortment of washers and clamps to ensure a tight fit for another $5. Still worth the price for the quality of the seat.

Don’t buy this! It’s cheap for a reason.
Junk. Save your money. This broke the 2nd time I used it. Cheap plastic strips keep seat attached to hinge but so thin it stretched out and slides off the bowl. Very dangerous. I was afraid I would end up on the floor.

You get what you pay for
Ehhh??? You get what you pay for I guess. Who would have thought it was so hard to find a quality, black padded toilet seat! I paid about $30 for this at the time …Then I had a plumbing issue that lead to a full remodel & abatement. I didn’t get to install it until about a year ago. It looks great. It feels a bit under padded like there’s a lot of unused space between the seat and the vinyl “skin”. Unfortunately mine didn’t last to long. It broke at the hinge on one of the bolts which is plastic so I’m searching for a replacement.

Seat is OK, bolts are not
Ok, where to begin. This is a toilet seat. Only so much to can say about this, but there are indeed things to be said. First, it's padded. While I have sat on other padded seats softer than this, for what it is, it beats sitting on a cold seat in the middle of the winter. And it's still by far better than sitting on a hard plastic seat, even though there are softer seats out there. For the price, it's ok. And second, the bolts that fasten the seat on the toilet. Here is a tip. Use the bolts that you used on the original seat to fasten it. The nylon bolts that is supplied have a weird top that has no real good way to use a flathead screwdriver to tighten it. The ones you have already fastening your original seat more than likely use a phillips head screwdriver to tightening it down. The big problem is with the supplied nylon bolts, they are not all that good and has no real way to grip a flathead screwdriver on it and if you strip them, you will be a very sad panda when you find you can't tighten up the seat and it ends up sliding around on a loose seat. Use the nylon bolts on your existing seat installation and you should be ok. Comfort wise? Well, it's not too bad. Like I said, there are more padded seats out there, but you do get what you pay for, and this does beat sitting on a cold plastic seat in the wee hours of a cold winters morning. If you're budget minded, then this is a good choice. If you hit the Power Ball, then why are you looking to buy this seat? 4 stars only for the sub par bolts included. Upgrade the bolts to ones that use a phillips head driver to install would be a great improvement.

Barely mid…
I bought this to replace a soft burgundy seat I had for several good years. Because I couldn’t find that same good quality seat, I bought this one. It’s easy to install and It is true to color as in the ad, but it’s definitely not good quality like the seat I had. Every single time I lift up the lid on the seat, there are deep indents from the hardware. I have had plenty of soft seats in my long lifetime and I have never ever seen this issue before. Never! This indicates that the vinyl is cheap and it probably won’t last long not to mention it’s unsightly to see every time I lift up the lid. Because I like the color for my bathroom’s decor, it was a decent price and I couldn’t find my old brand again, I will put up with it, but its definitely not a preferred choice.

Not a good product
Did not use the toilet seat right the screw that has the seat in the top connected scratched my toilet and it has already split and I’m 120 pounds and the only one that uses it. It is junk.

CHEAP
The indentation is forever there. Very cheap seats but they were put on while I was not home. I would've returned them. Plus it slides when you sit down
