It worked perfectly
I bought this card for a trip to Spain. I activated it 2 days before my trip and put it in my phone once I arrived in Malaga Spain. The phone asked me for the pin number and it started to work with no problem. I was able to use the internet and also to call to USA phones and send text messages to them just by using the USA phone code. I used the card for two weeks, the internet worked very well. I was asked only once to give my passport number via text message to which I didn't pay attention.

Works perfect!
I set up the SIM card in my portable hotspot before I left the USA and suggest you do the same. It’s really easy to set up and though the packaging seemed a little dodgy it works perfectly- I’m typing this on a beach in Spain. The only time it didn’t work was when we were within some thick stone wall structure but perfect once we landed.

Orange SIM for iPhone Xr worked very well in Spain
Purchased to use for 3 weeks in Spain. Installed during flight once out of USA. Easy to install. When I turned phone on in Spain it was working, on the Orange network makingand receiving calls, emails, WhatsApp, Signal, etc., and of course a never ending stream of trash (mostly Chinese) calls and texts. Daily texts from Orange requesting that passport & travel info be submitted; ignored them all and caused no problems. One thing that was annoying is that whenever the phone was turned off & on, the SIM PIN had to be entered. Make sure you have your SIM info card with you at all times. Another annoyance is not being able to make WiFi calls (though WhatsApp & Signal voice calls worked fine. Liked it enough that we went to an Orange store to buy a second for wife’s phone. Took opportunity to ask some questions but discovered Orange store employees are not very knowledgeable. Using an Orange SIM card for 3 weeks was very much less expensive than trying to use what Verizon offered.

Don't buy this unless you are fluent in Spanish
I bought this because of the longer usage time. It installed OK once I was in Italy, and made and received one or two calls to the US. Then it would do nothing. I received two or three text messages in Spanish from the supplier, but I know very little Spanish, so could not read them. I texted a request for help and received another reply in Spanish. I received another text in Spanish, which a friend interpreted as a request for my passport. I attempted to send a photo, but I don't think it was successful. I did not receive conformation and the phone would not work. It is possible there was information in the texts I could not read which would have solved the problem, but I don't know. Unless you are fluent in Spanish, this is a waste of money.

MUST HAVE FOR TRAVELING!!! Keep the card and pin for restarting phone
Got me through my month long trip in Spain! Thus is a must have for traveling.I don't know what I'd have done without it during my trip. I want all over Spain and it worked flawlessly. I was in Valencia, In Madrid, and up around Sans Sébastien and it worked amazingly. The set up can be a bit daunting and confusing at first especially if you aren't that tech savvy but once you get over that hurdle everything else is a breeze. Don't throw away anything. It has the codes and whatever pins you need if you restart your phone. Keep the pin and card safe and with you in case something happens and you need to restart.

Worked great for our vacation in Spain
We used this SIM card in our old unlocked iPhone 7 Plus while on vacation in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) and it worked perfectly. We had plenty of data and very good signal. I did keep getting repeated text messages to "activate" the card, which I completed, but it still texted me every now and then. Thankfully that never impacted the service or kept me from using the card, it was just a little annoying. It was very convenient to be able to have a cell phone to rely on while traveling.
