I bought these socks to use for a Halloween costume, and while they look exactly like the socks from the show, they're somewhat cheaply made and it shows. The color stretches with the sock and makes them look somewhat translucent, and the material used for the socks is stiff, though not dramatically so. Still, if you're going to use these for a costume, they do the job and won't tear in half after one use. I wouldn't recommend them for any other use.

The only pair that fit perfect and color true to picture

First of all: these are NOT what I was expecting/looking for. I've been searching for "sweat socks" (primarily cotton content, terrycloth or "cushioning loops" interior, ribbed upper) for my Eleven from Stranger Things costume. These socks are 80% cotton and I actually love the texture, but not only are the calves TIGHT (I'm 5' 3" with slightly large calves and the socks land just underneath my knee,) they are NOT "sweat socks." They are thin, not sweat-absorbing, and the calves stretch so tight the pattern is deformed. Yes, I'm being picky, and if you have small calves and won't be doing a lot of walking, these are great. But anyone with legs thicker than your average prepubescent girl, don't bother.

As expected. My daughter wore them with her “Eleven” costume and now won’t take them off she loves the so much. She has women’s size 8 foot and they fit well. Typical knee socks as they come up to her knees as pictured.

Hard to get , the only reason spending 40 dollars for one pair of socks was a special track suite I have etc...long story. But please 3 pairs of the same makes little more sense.

I bought these as part of a last minute funny costume for a pickle ball tournament with a group of friends. They are almost see through they are so thin and the stripes are really thin, not like the ones shown in the photo. These definitely don’t go over the calf. I’m a women’s size 7 and my husband is a men’s size 12. As you can see in my photo, they don’t go anywhere near as high as described. In the end not a huge deal, since it was more a gag purchase but I would have returned them if I had the time to get something else for the event.
