These steel bars were mostly as advertised. My use needs very accurate grinding to work and these have visible scuffs and have to be machined to a lower diameter to be useful. The steel is uniform and well hardened. They appear to be some sort of stainless. Ends appear to be a bit malformed in the cutting process, making using them as a turning shaft cause for re machining them to exact fit. They would work for a 3018 project.

worked well with 8mm sd clamps to attach plunge router base to Woodpecker mortise jig. I recommend chamfering the rods at the ends to facilitate starting the clamps.

I ordered several of these rods for coil-building, mostly for the larger coils where appropriate tools are not included in any "vape kits". These are for 4.5mm to 7mm (yes I have some gigantic atomizers). I'm very pleased with this purchase. All of the rods were within .05mm of their targets, in which the difference may or may not be accounted for by limitations of the digital calipers that I am using. Machining and tolerances look to be well on point here and these should serve me well for some time to come. I tried to go lowest cost with some other rods that I acquired elsewhere, and these were definitely the way to go, and the way I should have gone originally.

As per the title these rods are cut off from longer stock using a blunt guillotine judging by the fact that the ends of the rods are distorted and carry a burr. Bank on cutting off 4mm each end to get the rod true if that is important in your application.

Les deux rod ne sont pas droite et je ne peux pas les utiliser car je n'aurais pas la précision voulu. Beaucoup trop dispendieux pour la qualité et le shipping a été super long.
