Great quality
Canon does not provide a hood with this lens... In wildlife photography, I believe a hood is absolutely necessary. Original Canon hood is rarely available, this one from JJS is very nice, does a job at reasonable price.

Good effective and well built hood, fits well to boot. There’s a slight gap right at the rim where it attached to the end of the lens but it doesn’t interfere with the shooting and it’s a fraction of the price of what an OEM one would cost.
