I have been using this indigo powder along with Banjara's natural Henna for more than 2 years now. I had tried other products like Attar Ayurveda and didn't like the results and it started giving allergies after a while . This one has been the best so far. After henna, I sometimes go as long as 7 days till application of this indigo powder, but still leaves my hair with an Auburn tint. Thankyou for such a great product!

The indigo is not coloring properly compared to earlier indigo i bought from somewhere else. Although the product may be natural but if the indigo is oxidised then it will not leave the color .

Until few years before, Carmel Organics Indigo leaves powder was very effective. But now, even after following proper procedure several times- that is- after applying overnight soaked mehendi for 3-4 hrs, washing it and applying this brand's Indigo powder same day for 3 hrs- NO USE- full effort waste, hair doesn't get coloured black, white strands showing up within 2 days. Need to look for other brand which can be trustworthy.

It’s been using this henna for 2 years now. The henna covers greys naturally by giving them a dark brown colour. It’s herbal so safe for the hair and scalp. My hair isn’t dry post usage as I always condition my hair well. I use only the henna and not indigo as I want a brown shade in colour. As per my hair growth requirement, I use the henna once a month. After 4-5 usage of shampoo the colours becomes lighter but doesn’t completely fade. Once my grey roots emerge I colour them again. I’ve tried other Organic henna too but Carmel Organics henna works best for my hair. The complete process for henna application requires 2-3 days but since it’s herbal and does its job well, it’s worth all the hassle. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to colour their greys but not with chemicals or dyes.

I have tried one other brand of Indigo, which did nothing for my hair.... I've read that if it's old it doesn't work. This is my second try with an Indigo product and what a difference... this one really works. It comes in a resealable pouch, which probably is why it is fresher and works better. I left on for a long evening (maybe 6 hours?) and it did the job powerfully.... left a slightly blue/purple tint which is fading and looks fine, nothing terrible. It did not fully cover my greys, even combined with Henna - my grey hairs are still visible. They are slightly camouflaged by it, but not fully dark in color - I can still tell they're there. Also, initially it seemed to make my hair feel really soft, which is not from the henna, definitely from the indigo. Good quality product that works and probably you could leave it on for less time than I did.

Although the henna process takes longer than salon or box color, it’s so much better for you hair, and leaves it feeling and looking great!

Best indigo I have used! If you want to achieve black hair after henna, this is the way to go. I recently purchased another brand and the result turned out like I only used henna. This is a product I will continue using.
