I want to start with first saying that anyone denying that these are good quality is most likely not taking proper care of them. With reusable diapers and panties you must follow a proper wash and care routine to keep them absorbent. (Gently) hand wash cold, mild soap or many rinses, and NEVER ANY FABRIC SOFTENER. fabric softener makes things less absorbent (ie. “liquid beading off.”) a regular washer can and would rip the inner PUL/ liquid retention layer making them leak the next time you use them. Then FOLD to squeegee not wring. Wringing will rip the PUL. Once no longer dripping air dry. I drape mine inside out with crotch up over the shower bar or drying rack. Okay. Now for a review on these puppies. These are so fantastic i bought 2 packs, then 2 more, and I’m about to buy two more. Why so many? I bloat some times but not all times so got enough for the time of my menstrual cycle in Medium and Large. Im losing weight and will need smalls soon but can just alter the larges when that time comes. I also am lazy and dont like standing at the sink hand washing while on my period so i leave them in a bucket of water, agitating slightly and changing the water every day until it is done and then wash them all at once. These are leakproof. They only ever leak when they overflow. I change them about every 3-4 hours on a regular day, maybe every 2 on a heavy day at the beginning. I wear them without a liner. I have an issue with the front and back getting stains before it leaks out the bottom when i wear disposable pads so i always got the extra long pads making things even more bulky but the absorbent layers in these panties covers all of that well enough i can ditch the pads in exchange for changing my panties every couple of hours. It is soooo worth it. They stretch really really well. A large would fit bigger and smaller and the same for every size. I feel if you size what you are normally you will be more than pleased with the give in both directions. I have abdomen pressure issues from endometriosis, GERD, and IBS so even though they are very stretchy its too much for my sensitive self so thats why i got the two sizes but if i was average and undamaged i would have stuck with the mediums only. I got ALL shrimp color because i only wear white, gray, and earth tones and the color couldn't be better. They look like the pics to a tee. They are quite soft though only as soft as their materials allow. Upon drying they can feel stiff but thats how air drying works, they feel pretty soft after folding and putting in the drawer. I have posted pics with the background blacked out because I have very identifiable tattoos. I have also post a picture of a black pair i had received from another brand that i returned. I purchased 5 different brands including thinx and returned all but these. I am sharing a pic from one of the other brands as comparison for how thick they are/feel. Many people have posted saying period panties can feel like a diaper. Im here to say these dont. If you think they feel like a diaper you probably should stay away from period panties altogether. These have as little diaper feeling as period panties can get with 3 layers of material around the crotch as all period panties will have. Inner layer, PUL layer, outer layer. These have cotton which i prefer as it helps keep yeast infections at bay which should feel slightly thicker however if you care to check from the black pair of a different brand (white background) it appears (and felt) much thicker. The fit wasn’t as good because they weren't as stretchy, they didnt breathe as well, and felt more diaper-y. I can tell just by looking but its my body so I'm not sure if its visible from someone unbiased. Im clearly not great at editing i dont have photoshop or anything and i wasn’t paid for this review. I have given them my money for these and I’m going to do it again. They stop just below the belly button. And the cheeks are a little bigger but I prefer the slight wedge for absorption help as i fit into them. That will make sense to those that also need it. However it’s the only thing that I believe anyone could logically complain about but wouldn’t even notice unless they have a very flat to nonexistent butt. Review: Great for everyday wear - This product is very comfortable and has a conforming fit. According to desertcart AI a large would fit best which was good. The care symbols on the package indicated the product can be machine washed in cold water with non chlorine bleach, tumble dry. I would rather hang dry because of the spandex material. I've purchased another pack of four and intend to wear them on non menstrual days because of the comfort. My product did not come with inserts nor an area for inserts.

Had to alter the waistband, but great after that!
In the picture these looked like they had no elastic in the waist, just the main fabric as the waistband. Those are the type I like, so I went for them. However, they DID have elastic sewn in the waist band top, which made them way to tight and uncomfortable. If your handy with a seem ripper and needle and thread, it's easily taken out. Which is what I did and they're perfect after that! I got the size medium, I size up to a large in most underware if it has elastic in the waist. They don't seem like they absorb much, the crotch isn't noticably thicker than the rest, but you can feel the water proof barrier. These aren't really for absorbing anyways, just leak protection. I got them to use with a cup in place of a panti liner. I haven't used them for that purpose yet, they arrived at the end of my cycle, but I have used them for the last couple days with the now and then surprise last bits if you know what I mean. They've worked well for that. They seem like they'll do the job intended. And the fit is perfect with the elastic removed. They still stay up nicely as the stretch fabric itself is enough for a waistband. I'd recommend if The tight elastic doesn't bother you or if your willing to spend the ten minutes to take the elastic out of them. I debated on returning them for others when I first felt it, but opted to not go through the hassle and just alter them because the rest of the seemed good.

These are awesome, if you properly care for them.
The manufacturer says they are machine washable but I hand wash them. These products have an insert that is designed to absorb leaks based on the flow you purchase them for. That insert can get damaged if not properly cared for rendering the product defective. I hand wash using gentle soap and a nail brush to scrub because it has gentle bristles. A baby hair brush would also work. Then I gently squeeze dry and finally roll in a dry towel before hanging to completely dry. Never put them in the dryer if you want to wear them again. They are perfect for light days towards the end of my menstrual cycle, or if you have slight bladder leaks. I ordered another set one size up. These fit but due to the type of material fit snugly. Sometimes I don't want to feel poured into my underwear. I wear a size 16/18 bottom and these are an XXL, but my new set is a 3X. I'm sure they'll fit a bit looser and more comfortably. I highly recommend purchasing, just be aware that you should care for them as you do all your delicate clothing items.

Sizing off
Sizing runs small- I wear a size 16 pants and 2x is too small. Works great otherwise.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! Not for heavy periods
I would show pics of my tan leather seat and my blood soaked jeans, but my review would probably be denied. I started while I on a trip to go see my in-laws, thought I had picked enough of the other period underwear I bought that I now love even more. I bought this brand thinking that they would be as good as the other brand I bought and I was wrong. I had some light leakage over night while sleeping at the hotel, so that was fun and a bit embarrassing to ask for fresh sheets. Then when it was time to get on the road, I had already been been wearing a pair for 2 hours and already felt like I was leaking. I went into the bathroom before we got on the road and had to not only change, but clean up all the blood on the insides of my thighs. It felt and looked like I had just been wearing regular underwear, not these that are supposed to be made specifically for heavy bleeders, which I am one, but also being on blood thinners for the rest of life, it makes my periods a bit heavier. Not even 2 hours into a road trip home, not only was I leaking, but my pants were already bloody, and at this point the blood is all over my tan leather seat. This is truly the most embarrassing experience I have had, especially in front of my husband, who is now cleaning up my seat, while I’m in the gas station bathroom writing this after having to change and clean myself up from. I am very disappointed and refuse to recommend Nalwort period underwear to anyone. Unfortunately, there is no way to return them for false advertisement and get my money back.

Great alternative to pads 👍🏻☺️
I'm so glad I bought these period underwear, after I got my IUD removed and got my period back after not having one for 7+ years the feeling of a pad was driving me nuts 😵💫 Husband and I are TTC so it had to come be removed so I could get my period back. I thought I was going to get my normal flow (heavy to medium to light) back but it actually came back lighter (medium to light) so I would only need one pad for the day in conjunction with my menstrual cup in case of leaks. But because what few leaks I would have were minor the feeling of the pad started to become uncomfortable so I started looking at period underwear and found these. They fit nice and I probably should've gone up one size so it fit a little higher on my abdomen due to the pouch I have but they are soft, comfortable and stay in place. If you're looking for an alternative for pads then period underwear is the way to go, especially if your flow tends to be medium to light.

Amazing so glad I left tampons behind!
Listen with everything going on with tampons I saw it as important to write a review. These are fantastic! If you have a med to light flow. I don't use a pad with these at all and I have never had a bleed through. If I have a light flow I wear them all day change before bed and change in the morning. If I have a medium flow then I may have to change one more time mid day. Cleaning is a little of a pain to ensure you don't destroy the pad. **update below you can wash only gentle** I followed the instructions of another reviewer in the comments and hand wash only with detergent in the tub and don't wring then out. Some say they run small so I got a 3x as I normally wear XXL to XL in underwear and they fit fantastically. They are the right amount of loose to be comfortable yet not to loose that the blood would leak out. If you are a heavy bleeder I don't think you would get away with wearing these and I would instead get your underwear from the namebrand thinx and get the one specifically for heavy flow. **update these work for my heavy flow just change more often.** As for pee leakage I can't give much info other than the few times I have sneezed and leaked they held up no leakage. So do with that what you will. I bought 2 packs and that gets me through a whole cycle but I will be buying one more for my med flow cycles as I almost ran short last time. **Update** I have started washing them on gentle cycle and drying on low heat and they have held up. This has made these even more perfect than they already are. Also I have had a few heavier than normal flow cycles and they still held up and I only needed to change them as much as I do for med flow still no leaks.
