I received a faulty left earbud which had constant crackling/static noise even while NC=OFF and even when not connected to device. So I returned to amazon (for refund) and got a replacement (from the mall [50 AED more expensive] because I did not want to wait 15 days for amazon replacement) and the new ones are perfect, no issues. These earphones are great, comfortable, light, great sound in any mode. Nice touch sensors with some customisation. Amazing battery life (when not using NC). The mic's voice quality (for calls etc) is not great, it sounds like I am on speaker phone (a bit distant/echo-y). Some people have issues with these earphones combined with Google Pixel and iPhones (search reddit) but with Samsung Galaxy S10, Huawei Tablet and Laptop they work beautifully. I cannot comment on voice assistant features as I do not use them. The headphones app is great with auto firmware update, EQ lots of features. Enjoy!

The worst product I have ever used in terms of build quality and battery durability. Just after 1 year the battery died suddenly and inflated to crack one of the earphones open. I earlier faced similar issues with WF1000XM3 too. Sony is not getting it right if they keep ignoring the two most important aspects of Battery and Build Quality. They sound good and ANC is good too but if the earphones are not able to last even 2 years with occasional use, it is criminal on part of manufacturers.

The earbuds are amazing. The sound quality and bass are really good. If you travel a lot and you want silence and not be bothered by kids crying in the flight, this is the solution ( not your kids of course :D ) The Sony app and the features are really good and customizable. Only one negative point are the earbud tips which are made of memory foam and they do not fit properly. The solution for that is to use the silicone tips and the problem is solved and voila you have the best noise cancelling earbuds with the powerful bass sound.

Old review: "Best earbuds in the market. Pristine voice-cancelling. Excellent sound quality." After 1 year: The right earbud will drain battery excessively, and will only have a 1 hour battery life, and will also be very hot and uncomfortable at all times but especially right after charging. This was noted as an issue among XM4 users after the 1.4.2 update and was noticed since July 2022. As I am typing this review, my left earbud is still at 100% while my right earbud is already at 80% despite me not using any feature such as Voice Assistant, Noice cancellation, or even playing any sound. Because of this, I am very much discouraging anyone to even consider this product as Sony has not even put out any notice regarding the battery issues after firmware 1.4.2 or even sending out a new firmware update to fix the issue for the other XM4 users that have yet to fry their earbuds.

I have owned bose products, audio technica and the V moda, sound wise this earpiece is better. better battery also. However, due to the new memory foam thing it is a bit unhygenic as the foam gathers dust and all. They provide three pieces large medium and small . Large ones fit my ears but it already tore within a couple of months, I am using the medium but sound leaks. Noise cancelling is OK, sound is super. Now I have to buy the memory foam tips for around 100 aed in the market. Good value for money though.

After various Apple products failing immediately after the warranty expires, I took a chance on these. Music reproduction is great, podcasts are clear, noise canceling works very well, figment is okay - maybe that just me adjusting to a new product? Not confident to run or do calisthenics with them, but walking and normal wear is great. App is decent, but wants you to have an account. No thanks. Overall I’m quite pleased and would purchase them again - and did. Bought a white pair for my partner!

Does what it says on the pack. Be sure to test ALL 3 eartip sizes to find what works best for noise cancelling for you. The Sony earbuds app (Sony Connect on google playstore) has a usefull eartips testing function; use it! In my case, both the medium and large eartips passed the seal test, but I found that noise cancelling did not work well for me with the Medium tips, while the Large tips have been EXCELLENT!

I wore them for about a week and they ended up causing pressure issues in my inner ear. I had to go to the hospital eventually because of the pain and I don't wear them anymore. They are good earphones in quality of sound, just not for everyone for fit. Seller still doesn't reply for returns, so that is disappointing.

I have the XM3 which was redeemed through a credit card sign up promotion, and they sounded amazing. However the buds were so bulky, had a short battery life, and were always dropping out of my ears with none of the included ear tips giving a good fit. Chanced upon these during the Black Friday weekend sales and got them at a hugely discounted price of S$260. Ordered on Saturday and delivered on Monday. Pairing was straightforward using the Sony headphones app. The earbuds case and earbuds were so much more compact when compared to the XM3s, and the included eartips were a much better fit than the older model. The sound was clear and bright, and the app allows full customisation of sound to suit individual tastes. With such a great offer on hand, these buds are greatly recommended to anyone seeking high end and high quality earbuds.

Very good, if a bit overpriced. Sound quality good, noise cancelling good. Little uncomfortable after a long time of wearing.

A bateria tem boa duração, o touch responde muito bem e a qualidade do áudio e do cancelamento de ruído são excepcionais. Nem é preciso aumentar muito o nível do volume para ter clareza na música. Vale a pena utilizar o equalizador, pois o default não achei legal para as músicas que curto (rock). Eu gostei do modo "Brilho" do equalizador. Em resumo: Valeu cada centavo!

Well let's make a detailed review for this wonderful item. I purchased this last year, and after long use I believe it's the best earbuds currently in the market for many reasons The noise canceling is superb ( btw it's active ) And Even when you disable it the buds itself has good sound isolation The sound quality is excellent and the earbuds give good and rich bass with no disturbing effect The battery life for me was long enough. The mic was the only problem as the mic had not very good quality And the pairing mode wasn't as easy at first but later i had no problem I recommend it if you want to listen to music or watch movies as if you are in the cenima The earbuds has very advanced features and i believe it's better that other products in the market and the application give it updates regularly
