As described and easy to install

Purchased this to replace the broken door switch on my Frigidaire washing machine and arrived next day. Followed the instructions someone posted on YouTube and it only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Saved me from having to call a serviceman and spend who knows how much money on a service call. Be sure to double check that the Amazon description includes your machines exact model number.

Correct part, easy to install but unfortunately it did not correct washer issue. 😢.

This part for the door lock on the clothes washer was exactly for my unit. Always reference the model/serial number for exact part. Can be found inside the washer door. The install was very simple. A needle nose pliers to remove the metal compression band around the rubber bellows, at the bottom of the bellows, there is a spring attached to the compression band. Put pliers on the metal eye that attaches the spring and band and very gently stretch the spring a little to remove the metal band from around the rubber bellows. Don't tear the rubber!!! Once the band is off, peel the rubber back gently in the area of the door lock switch. Use a square drive head for your d4ive and remove the 2 screws for the door lock switch. There are 3 plugs, transfer the plugs one at a time to the new switch, and reinstall. Put the rubber bellows back on, it is a v channel, so be sure to re attach properly. Put metal band back in place and you are done. It really is very simple, just take your time to do it correctly.

My Washer is a Frigidaire Infinity Washer door strike will not latch properly and the washer will not start because the 1st picture that part was broken. I order the first part took me less than 2 minutes to switch them and still washer would not start. I had to order the second part on the picture to make it work. I installed both which took me about 5 minutes to do it. It wouldn’t start until I loosen the screw on the door. Anyone can do it it’s easy a quick fix and you save lots of money. I also watch a video on YouTube to help me guide the process.

Excellent replacement part!!!. Called out a technician and they wanted $290 labor, $300 for the part. Showed him to the door. Ordered this part, watched a YouTube video and the rest is history.

Our Frigidaire front-loader clothes washer suddenly refused to go into it's spin cycle, at the end of washes. Code 47 was the error that came up, when entering diagnostic mode, Turned out it was a faulty door switch. Just had to install the sensor component of this kit, which fixed the problem. The Youtube video referenced covered all bases.
