Cooked it on my griddle on high heat, 2 minutes each side. Although I was impressed by it, I was expecting to be blown away, and for that reason it fell short for me. Certainly not the best I’ve ever had, but close. Does it warrant its $150 lb price tag? I don’t think so, but I’m glad I tried it. I think the second one will go in a screaming hot cast iron skillet. Maybe with a better crust this steak will shine for me.

Not impressed.
I first tried Snake River Farms American Waygu. Was over the top impressed so I thought I'd bite the bullet and buy the official. Shipped with cold packs (rather than dry ice ) You would think spending this much that the packaging would be much better ) While it looked beautiful.....the price did NOT justify the cost. Seek out Snake River Farms. Half the cost and SO MUCH BETTER.

Arrived late and didn't include certificate as advertised.
The steak itself looks great. I have no doubt it's authentic. However, it arrived 3 days late. Not 100% sure if it's even safe to eat at this point. I'd say don't take your chances. Buy this kind of thing someplace reputable that specializes in this sort of thing. Or contact the seller directly to set up overnight shipping as the shipping used here was unreliable at best.
